From the station, head North West, then at Fodgel Lake turn left and follow the road South West to the first intersection where Monday Café resides.
A fat policeman will greet you, handing off a delicate HUV part. Since you have 9 crashes and no time limit, drive as fast as you can within the bounds of safety.
Head North East on the road you entered in, but at Fogel Lake continue North East until you reach the police station.
The automobile researchers there will thank you for your "hard work," however they are lacking a Mittron parts analyzing agent (a necessary tool for their research).
Erina will give you some info on auctioning items, and then you'll need to return to Station 1. Note that the experience listed in the briefing is 80, however the amount you receive is only 70.

Swellfish Restaurant[edit]
Ah, USERNAME! Argh, I'm so full! This restaurant is the best! Moon Palace was established here on Mittron Island to allow us to mine Mittron ore. Mittron ore is one of the few remaining energy sources. In the beginning, Moon Palace was just a normal city, like any other place. But since we started to mine Mittron ore, strange cars have been appearing. *Belch* That shellfish left a bad aftertaste. I need to eat ice cream now! Let's go to the ice cream shop.

Well, you're wrong! There's another way! You can upgrade your current car with new parts! Press the [F3] key, and you will see open slots. Just drag the new parts into the slots. New parts will increase your car's attributes. Some parts are more expensive than a new car! Spend your money wisely! Ah! One more thing just came to me!! The Drossel Toy Store is the best! Prices are high though. Oh yeah, I mentioned the strange cars appearing. As I get older, my mind gets fuzzier. Anyway, the cars would suddenly appear, completely mess up the road, and just disappear. We called them HUVs. We actually considered using conventional weapons to deal with them. When the temporary OMD government was established, one of its mandates was, "The use of weapons is prohibited on Mittron Island." Now do you understand why OMD drivers attempt arrests by colliding into HUVs. It's a ridiculous situation! We still don't know their origin or motives, but we have to find and stop them! I don't want to see this city destroyed, and I don't want to see OMD drivers risk their lives anymore. Alright, USERNAME. Go back to the Station and complete some missions!

The OMD IT center has closely examined the HUV parts, and has sent the parts here. The parts are quite unique, and unfortunately, the scientists couldn't figure out what they were. We need to have Branton, a famous engineer, examine the parts. I knew that researcher wouldn't be able to figure it out. The only thing he is good at is ogling women. What a creep! Anyway, Branton was last seen watching a film at the Schwan Theater just a few minutes ago! Get over there quickly and pick him up! Hurry!! I have no idea how skilled he is, but I definitely know he has bats in his belfry!

Head south to the shore, then drift around the corner to the right. Instead of going through the checkpoint, pass it going west, then do a U-Turn and hit the checkpoint as you're going east. The chase will begin, and you'll notice the HUV on your minimap located east of the intersection just south east of Station 2. Depending on your preference you can either head after the HUV going east, or loop around behind it so you don't lose it while turning. It's your choice - know that a single HUV at your level will be slower and less of a hassle than those later on where every second counts.

I've received word of an HUV near the Tour Hotel. This time, you don't have to arrest the HUV, just trail it quietly. This is what the head office wants. USERNAME! Is this your first trailing mission? Go to the designated location. When you get there, find the target vehicle and follow it! The location of the target will be on your map! Trail the target carefully; you should not be too far or too close!

Head to the checkpoint, but be ready to immediately start the trailing. When the message appears, it's better that you keep driving and ignore it - try to get rid of it (press quickly) or else your engine might stall, causing you to fail.

Follow behind the HUV as it circles around the little island. You have to be between about 10 and 120 meters otherwise a 10 second countdown will begin (to the right of the distance meter). If it reaches zero you will fail. Additionally, if you touch the HUV at all, you will fail immediately. Be patient - trailing missions can be tedious, but failing them is much worse.

We recieved the examination report of the HUV parts, and the findings suggest that the HUV was an unmanned car. Someone may be operating the HUVs by remote control. It is also possible that HUVs are governed by some kind of artificial intelligence. What kind of people are doing this? Damn it! This city is getting messed up because of the HUVs!!
