Ness, the protagonist, is a 13 year old boy from the suburbs who gets thrown into the difficult task of saving the world after a meteor lands near his home. He must journey throughout the world collecting melodies with his Sound Stone and defeating the minions of Giygas. Ness uses bats and yo-yos to inflict major damage to his enemies. He also has a wide range of psychic spells at his disposal.
