[edit] Left Room
Solution:
- Save the Heart Frame directly south of the treasure chest for last. Walk past it and up to the Emerald Frame near the chest. Push it left all the way to the Heart Frame against the wall, collecting the Heart Frame between the two Skulls along the way. It will give you two Egg shots.
- Shoot the upper left Skull twice to remove it and push the Emerald Frame down until it is in front of the Medusa. Then collect the two nearby Heart Frames, and cross the bridge to the right and collect the next Heart Frame. Push the two Emerald Frames up and down, stopping just before the Skulls.
- Walk back to the center, to the left, and up and around, pushing the Emerald Frame close to the treasure chest. Stop when the frame is over the bridge, then walk around to the right side and push the frame back to the left, all the way again.
- Double shoot the Skull again and push it down to the Emerald Frame below. Then walk back up, to the right, and down to the center and to the left, to push the frame above the Medusa. Then walk up the bridge above to collect the Heart Frame.
- Walk back to the lower right corner, and walk to the left across the bridges, pushing the Emerald Frame that you pushed down to the left. Collect the Heart Frame between the Skulls along the way. Double Shoot the lower Skull and push the Emerald Frame up to the frame above. Then walk back down, right, up to the center and to the left. Push the lower frame below the Medusa.
- Walk down the bridge and collect the lower left Heart Frame. Then walk to the Heart Frame that you saved for last, and quickly run up to the key before the Skulls get too close to it.
When you complete the room, leave and return. Push the lower Emerald Frame on the center island to make a Guardian Chamber entrance appear.
[edit] Guardian Chamber
There are only 14 seconds on the clock, and you have to find the right path to reach the chest before time runs out. Despite appearances, there's only one entrance to the chest.
- From the start, run straight right to the upper right corner.
- Then run straight down to the lower right corner.
- Run straight to the left until you are under the second up Arrow Tile, then walk up and collect the chest just in time.
[edit] Room 2
Solution:
- Start by walking around to the opposite side of the Emerald Frame you begin in front of and push it to the right. Then push the Emerald Frame above you up and collect the three Heart Frames inside, gaining two Egg shots in the process.
- Push the frame that you just moved down towards the right Medusa, but stop at the boulder. Then return to the trio of frames, push the outer two in, and the middle one down to the same height as the previous Emerald Frame. Then return to the right one and push it down to the Emerald Frame below, and push that frame in so that the Medusa is blocked. Collect the Heart Frame near the Skull.
- Walk between the Emerald Frames at the top, and stand above the frame which is keeping the Leeper trapped in place. When it begins to bounce back to the left, push the Emerald Frame down near the water. Prepare to shoot the Leeper as it comes out from the trees. When you do, the screen will flash, and the resulting egg will be pink.
- Push the Emerald Frame that you just moved above the Medusa. Then push the pink egg down into the water. This will cause the water to dry up and be replaced with sand, allowing you to move all over the room. Collect the two Heart Frames near the top, and the last frame along the left, and collect the key.

Solution:
This stage is arranged to look like the letters "HAL" of HAL Laboratory. As you can see, with only on Emerald Frame, you're going to have a difficult time collecting the two Heart Frames that are in the view of the Medusa. You are given a hint that there is something special about the treasure chest. The Heart Frame in the lower left hand corner gives you two Egg shots. If you stand about a space away from the chest and shoot it, a special potion will appear near the Medusa. If you collect it, Lolo will begin to flash, indicating that he is invisible to the enemy. So the Medusa won't see him (even though it will change color as though it does) and even the Skull will be unable to harm Lolo after it starts moving.
[edit] Room 4
Solution:
- Collect the two Heart Frames from the upper right corner, gaining two Egg shots. Then stand above the down Arrow Tile against the right side of the stage and shoot the treasure chest. A transparent Lolo will appear. Touch it and Lolo will turn green and be able to move to any location on the stage.
- Walk to the position near the upper left corner of the stage, so that you are above the Emerald Frame to the left of the Snakey which sits over the bridge. Press
to return to normal. Push the frame down, and collect the Heart Frame to the left.
- Egg the Snakey and push him down above the Medusa. Then return over the bridge to collect the last Heart Frame above. Cross back over the bridge and walk along the left side and the bottom of the stage to get around the Medusa. Push the Emerald Frame along the bottom in to gain access to the key.
[edit] Room 5
Solution:
- Start by collecting the Heart Frame directly beneath the Gol that sits to the left of the treasure chest. Push the Emerald Frame on your right to the right. Push the Emerald Frame below you down until it sits to the left of the Medusa. Then walk around to the treasure chest, and walk through it to collect the Heart Frame and push the Emerald Frame down so it's on top of the Medusa.
- Walk over to the Heart Frames in the upper left corner. Shoot the Snakey above a Heart Frame once and push it right one space. Collect the Heart Frame. Walk to the right of the only Gol that faces left. Shoot it once, push it left, and push it down so that it sits to the right of the Medusa below.
- Walk back around to the right Medusa, and push the bottom Emerald Frame in to the right so it block the Medusa's view below. Then walk to the Snakey that blocks a Heart Frame surrounded by trees. Shoot it twice, collect the Heart Frame and stay there until the Snakey comes back. When the Snakey reappears, shoot it and slide it into place above the left Medusa.
- Shoot the Snakey to the left which blocks another Heart Frame (sitting to the left of another Snakey). Shoot it twice to remove it, collect the Heart Frame, and once again wait there for the Snakey to come back. When it does, shoot it and push it into place to the left of the left Medusa.
- Now shoot the Snakey below you twice, collect the Heart Frame, wait for it to return, shoot it once, and slide it below the left Medusa. Walk over to the right Snakey, shoot it twice, run in and collect the Heart Frame, and run back out before the Snakey returns.
- You should now have three Egg shots left. You can use them to deal with the Gols, but the easiest way to complete the board is to carefully run up to the top of the stage, dodging the fireball shot by the right facing Gol, egg the Gol that sits above the key, and safely collect the key from above.
[edit] Room 6
Solution:
- A surprisingly easy stage for this region, start out by ducking under the right Rocky and popping into the right chamber to collect the first two Heart Frames.
- Cross over to the center alley and wait for the left Rocky to reach the top before hopping into his lane, and let him push you down to the left Arrow Tile below.
- Collect the last two Heart Frames on the left side, then simply work your way back to the right and collect the key from the chest.
[edit] Room 7
Solution:
- This may be the toughest room in the game. Only careful planning will help you get through it. Start by pushing the center Emerald Frame near the entrance up to the boulder above. Push the Emerald Frame on your right up to the space below the Gol. Move the first frame over to the left until it sits next to the Don Medusa which bounces vertically.
- Enter through the tunnel to the lower portion. Push the leftmost Emerald Frame down, and then push it over to the right to pin the lower Don Medusa. Then push the right Emerald Frame up, and the middle Emerald Frame to the left one space. You must then safely push it up four spaces so that it sits between the boulder and the tree, and so that you can slide it on top of the Don Medusa and pin it against the boulders.
- Now walk back to the right and through the tunnel again, pushing the remaining Emerald Frame out to the left, and then up until it blocks the upper Don Medusa's view left. Now both Don Medusas are harmless.
- Collect the Heart Frame to the left of the treasure chest. Then shoot the Gol twice and push the frame that was below it up to prevent the Gol from returning.
- Now push the higher left frame above the entrance up and over so that it sits above the tunnel entrance. Walk around and go through the tunnel in the opposite direction to push the frame up one space. Then push it left two spaces, and then all the way to the top wall.
- Collect the six Heart Frames in the upper left corner. The Skull will come alive. Stand to right of the two trees, below the Emerald Frame, and shoot the Skull once. Push the egg in front of the Medusa, and safely collect the key below.
[edit] Room 8
Solution:
- In order to avoid getting trapped in the wrong place in this stage, you must make sure that you walk on top of the Arrow Tiles in this room instead of through them. Start by walking over the left Arrow Tile near the start, and collect the Heart Frame directly above the right Snakey.
- Walk above the set of left Arrow Tiles to the top of the stage, then to the right, down and right across the two down Arrow Tiles. Stand on the up Arrow Tile and walk to the right side of the stage. Then walk down across the two left Arrow Tiles to collect the 9 Heart Frames below.
- Walk back up to the first left Arrow Tile and walk left to collect another Heart Frame. Stand below the three left Arrow Tiles and walk straight up to the top. Then walk across the two down Arrow Tiles at the top of stage, collecting a Heart Frame along the way. Then walk down the left side of the stage.
- Collect the last two Heart Frames above the Snakey, and earn the Arrow Power. Use it on either of the Arrow Tiles to the right of the Snakey and make your way to the key.
[edit] Room 9
Solution:
- The only real threat in this stage is getting stuck behind the wrong side of the Arrow Tiles, or getting squeezed in by the Rockys. Patience is required here. When you start out, collect the two nearby Heart Frames and wait.
- When the higher of the two Rockys starts moving left, run into the same row with it, and collect the Heart Frame between the trees. Then follow the Rocky just close enough so that it doesn't come to a standstill.
- When you walk across the last left Arrow Tile, walk up to the one above it, and walk to the left to collect the last Heart Frame.
- Stand to the right of the lower down Arrow Tile, walk left, then up, then right, and then up to the top of the screen to collect the key.
Be very careful in this room, as it can reveal an unfortunate bug in the game which can prevent you from sacrificing yourself and forcing you to reset the game. If a Rocky pushes you up against a down Arrow Tile, or down against an up Arrow Tile, the game will stop responding to input from your controller.
[edit] Right Room
Solution:
- Save the Heart Frame right by the entrance for the very last. Push the Emerald Frame on the bottom to the right until it site below the down Arrow Tile. Then come back to the trio of Emerald Frames and push the middle one in. Push the outer frames aside and collect the two Heart Frames above.
- With the two Egg shots you gained, Shoot the upper Gol twice to remove him. Push the Emerald Frame nearby up to the Skull above.
- Walk around the trees to the Emerald Frame below the lower Gol and push it down. To make the Alma easier to deal with, you may wish to push it an additional half space down to keep it from coming over to the right side. Push the frame left until the Alma is trapped in the alley and push the Emerald Frame further in to prevent it from escaping.
- Walk into the alley below to collect the bottom Heart Frame, and then return all the way back to the top. Push the very first Emerald Frame that you pushed below the down Arrow Tile to the left so that it sits above both Skulls just below the chest. Collect the last Heart Frame closest to the treasure chest, and quickly run to the key before the Skulls have a chance to close in.
