You can collect the Heart Frames in a variety of ways and still be able to get the contents of the treasure chest, but it's generally best to leave the frame closest to the chest for last. So collect the lower right Heart Frame first to get two egg shots.
Then walk left, shoot the Skull between the two trees, and push it up. Then push the Emerald Frame to your right over to the wall, and collect the Heart Frame near the door for another two egg shots.
Walk down to the Skull above the treasure chest (remember to leave the Heart Frame next to it alone). Shoot the Skull, push it up into the water, and jump on board. It will float up to the island with the Heart Frame and the Snakey. Get off and collect the Heart Frame.
Wait for the egg to sink, then shoot the Snakey, push it to the right or up, and jump on to ride it back to the main portion of the room. Walk back down to the Skull, shoot it with an egg, and collect the last Heart Frame. Before any of the Skulls have a chance to reach you, collect the raft. You won't even need to use the Bridge power-up.
At this time, you can use the door to go north, but you won't be able to clear the room above from that direction. Instead, you'll need to use the raft to float to the west. You will embark on a path that is one-way until you return to the room above you. To reach the next room, launch the raft from the coast closest to where you collected the raft.
The raft will carry you over to the bottom island. Get off as soon as you can and collect the two Heart Frames which give you two egg shots each.
Shoot the Gol, and push the egg into the water to the right. Hop on, and it will take you up to the island above. As you ride, it's a good idea to shoot the right Alma when you have a chance.
Get off on the top island, and collect one of the Heart Frames (preferably the bottom) so that you can shoot the left Alma. Shoot it twice if necessary, then collect the remaining Heart Frames, and the raft from the chest.
To proceed, launch the raft to the left of where you collected it.
Allow the raft to take you all the way around the islands until it reaches the treasure chest. Then hop off, collect the bottom Heart Frame, and push the Emerald Frame all the way up. Collect the remaining Heart Frames in order to get the bridge power-up.
Use the bridge power-up on the channel of water below the Gol. Shoot the Gol twice to remove it, and then push the Emerald Frame over the bridge and to the location where the Gol used to be. Collect the top Heart Frame for two more egg shots.
Return to the lower island, shoot the Snakey once, push the egg into the water, and hop on top of it. Let it float over to the right island, where the Gol should reappear. Collect the Heart Frame, shoot the Gol, push the egg into the water to the right, and ride it all the way back to the big island where you can collect the raft.
To proceed to the next room, launch the raft down on the water below where the chest was.
Ride on the raft until it deposits you on the south side of the large island where you can collect the Heart Frames. However, only collect two of them, the left and center frames.
The center frame gives you two egg shots. Shoot the center Skull, push it up two spaces, walk around to the top, and push it back down one space, and then shove it all the way to the water on the right, but don't jump on board.
Instead, walk back down and stand next to the final Heart Frame. When the egg starts approach the big island from the south, collect the final Heart Frame, and jump on board the egg before any of the Skulls can reach it. It will float down to the small island where you can collect the raft.
To proceed to the next room, launch the raft south.
Get off the raft when you are on the south side of the island. Collect the bottom Heart Frame, but not the one above. Shoot the lowest Gol, and then collect the second Heart Frame.
Push the egg into the water on the right and hop on board. Let it take you around to the top side of the island, where you can get off immediately.
Shoot the right Gol twice to remove it, and shoot the left Gol with you remaining shot. Alternatively, you can double-shoot the left Gol first to remove it as the egg below you begins to sink, then shoot the right Gol and push it beyond the down arrow tile. Now you can safely move through the down arrow tile and collect the raft before any Gol reappears.
To proceed to the next room, launch the raft to the left of where you collected it.
You'll need to manage moving an Emerald Frame around to block the view of the Medusa on the top, while avoiding getting caught by the Don Medusa on the bottom, all while walking on slow-moving sand. Start by walking down to the right Emerald Frame, but stay above it.
When the Don Medusa starts moving back to the left, walk around the bottom of the frame and start pushing it up. You only have enough time to move it up one space, maybe one and a half, before you need to return to the top side of the frame to avoid being seen by the Don Medusa.
Push it up until it is one row above the top Heart Frame. Then start pushing it to the left, making sure that you return to safety above the frame when the Don Medusa is close to seeing you. Finally, push it directly above the top Heart Frame, and then walk around to collect that Heart Frame. The bottom Heart Frame will protect you from the Don Medusa.
Walk down and stand directly above the bottom Heart Frame. Wait for the Don Medusa to pass below as it moves to the right, and then quickly collect it and run to the left Emerald Frame. Stand above the left Emerald Frame to be protected from the Don Medusa. Now you can safely run up through the sand to reach the key.
This is a room with another special secret solution. The clue you are given is that the solution has something to do with the Rockys. Start out by collecting the single Heart Frame on the left side of the room. The chest will open, but the water will prevent you from reaching it. In order to collect it, you'll have to solve the riddle of the Rockys. The secret is to get all four Rockys to line up in a column. They will do this more or less on their own if they can see you and try running towards you. To expedite this process, stand below the left side of the island where the enemies are. The first two Rockys should have no problem occupying the lower left corner of the island, but it may take the last two Rockys a little more time to figure out how to get into the upper left corner. With enough time, they will, and the water will start to flash. When the flashing stops, all of the water will turn to sand. At this time, you should immediately run and collect the key before any of the enemies have a chance to beat you to it.
Push the closest Emerald Frame over to the right until it lines up with two other Emerald Frames. Collect the two Heart Frames on either side, and then push the two outer Emerald Frames to the right. Push the middle frame down.
Push the Emerald Frame over the lowest Heart Frame to the right, and collect the Heart Frame. Then push the Emerald Frame on your right all the way to the right, and push the Emerald Frame above you up. Collect the Heart Frame on the far right for two egg shots.
Stand below the Snakey and shoot it once. Push the egg up, but watch out for the Rocky. Make sure he doesn't see you and come running down the path. As soon as you can, push the egg into the water and hop on board. When you are above the Emerald Frame, push it down and push it in front of the right Gol.
Jump back on top of the egg as it floats by below you, and push left so that you get off above the left tree before the egg sinks. Shoot the right Gol from across the water. Then collect the last two Heart Frames, walk over to the egg, push it down into the water, and ride it so that it brings you back over to the bottom, where you can get off and collect the key.
As soon as you arrive, collect the closest Heart Frame below you (above the left Snakey) and get two egg shots.
Cross over the bridge and stand to the right of the top Snakey. Shoot it once, and push the egg into the water. Than move the Emerald Frame above down one space so that the Snakey reappears above the Medusa.
Once the Snakey reappears, push the Emerald Frame down until it blocks the Medusa's view right. Then collect the Heart Frame above the repositioned Snakey.
Come around to the Emerald Frame in the lower left, and push it to the right. Collect the Heart Frame above it, and the one below the bottom Snakey.
Push the lower left Emerald Frame to the right, collect the Heart Frame below the left Snakey, and then shoot that Snakey twice. Push the Emerald Frame to the left Snakey's former position. It will reappear below the Medusa in the upper right corner.
When you're ready, run to the right, and up the path that leads to the top. As soon as you are even with the Snakey on the right, shoot him once and push the egg to the right. There will be a fireball right behind you that will hit you if you hesitate for too long. Push the egg into the water and ride on top of it to reach the key.
Bell Chime
The chime of the bell indicates that there is a secret tunnel that can be found by adjusting the position of the Emerald Frames. In this case, you must push all three Emerald Tiles together to form a row or column. It does not matter where the row or column is formed. Doing so will make a tunnel appear that will take you to the East Rooms.
The only Heart Frame in the room is easily obtained. The real challenge of the room is to time your movements past the sight of the Medusa when the Leeper is bouncing in front of the Medusa so she can't see you. You will find that it's easier to accomplish them when you wait for the Leeper to move with you, as opposed to moving in the opposite direction, but you can accomplish this task in either case. Once you collect the key, you won't have to worry about getting back out.
You must collect the four Heart Frames around this E shaped pool, without getting hit by the Almas. Since all of the Heart Frames are located on the same side, it's fairly east to pull this off without a lot of special timing. Stand near the top and wait until the top Alma is near the left side. Then slide down and start collecting all of the Heart Frames, pausing for just a moment to ensure that the lower Alma is on the left side before you collect the bottom pair. Once you're done, don't stop moving and head straight for the key.
Walk through the first right arrow tile and collect the nearby Heart Frame. Then walk through the second arrow tile and collect the other Heart Frame.
Stand to the left of the lower right Snakey and shoot it once. Push the egg into the water, and use it to cross back over to the left. Do the same with the middle Snakey, only while you are standing on the egg, shoot the left Snakey and push it to the left as you get off the egg.
Push the egg up through the up arrow tile, and position it to the right of the Medusa above. Then walk to the right and shoot the Snakey on the right. Push the egg up to the water and use the egg to cross over and collect the Heart Frame in the upper right corner.
Before the egg can travel too far, hop back on top of it as it floats to the left. When you reach the Gol, shoot it and push the egg all the way to the left, above the Medusa. Collect the Heart Frame in the upper left corner.
Wait for the egged Snakey to reappear. Then shoot it once, and push it to the left, beneath the Medusa, in order to collect the last Heart Frame, and finally the key.
Translation:You must've been pretty quick to get here. But don't think you can just limp over to the king. Leave it to me and I'll make you run REAL fast! OK, see ya!
