Eidos Interactive is a publisher of video and computer games with its parent company based in England. It is now part of the Eidos Group of Companies and is a subsidiary of that is publicly-traded on the London Stock Exchange.
Its most well-known game series include Tomb Raider, Hitman, Commandos, Deus Ex, Legacy of Kain, Thief, and Fear Effect. Games for the Thief are no longer being developed and the team who developed the most recent incarnation, Ion Storm, has been disbanded.
In 2006 Eidos branched off internationally for game development. Two studios, one in Sweden and one in Budapest, Hungary, were the result[1]; the number of games with their names on them, however, are quite small. As of yet, only Eidos Studios Hungary has their name associated with a game: Battlestations: Midway.
