Epic is a first-person shooter/space flight simulator game developed by Digital Image Design and published by Ocean Software. It was released for the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST in early 1992, with ports for MS-DOS and NEC PC-9801. The game's breakthrough was the cutscenes and gameplay graphics, full 3d polygons over bitmap images.

In the course of 7 or 8 missions, both deep space and planetary, the player flies the top secret Epic spacecraft to protect the human fleet from the Rexxons. The Maganellic sun goes supernova and the human convoy's only way to survival is through the Rexxon Neutral Zone.
