The young girl wakes up in one of the cabins aboard Dyne's ship, The Albatross, with Vyse and Aika looking very concerned. Talking to the young air pirates, the girl reveals that her name is Fina, but won't say much more. You'll be given a choice on how Vyse reacts to Fina's name, either telling her it's "That's a great name", "That's a strange name" or cutting straight to the chase with "So, where are you from, exactly?". This is the first choice that'll affect your Swashbucker Rating, so choose carefully.
Vyse is then called up to the bridge by his father, who complains about Vyse's punctuality. After a brief scolding Dyne instructs you to talk to the vice-captain, Briggs, who's standing at the Albatross' helm. He lets you sail The Albatross home - you'll get options for a brief overview of ship controls or directions to Pirate Isle, but you can skip both if you prefer.

Pirate Isle is more or less straight ahead from where you begin, but first there's a Discovery, the Pirate's Grave, on a small circular island right in front of your ship's starting position. Fly over the island and your compass will spin; press
to "discover" the item. You'll get a short explanation of discoveries from The Albatross' crew, then they'll let you head on home.
Take the south route between the two floating cliffs curving slowly to the East, and you'll see the Pirate Isle soon enough. Press
when you see the island's name appear, and a cutscene kicks in showing The Albatross coming into the underground dock.
Once off the ship, Vyse is called to Dyne's office along with Aika and Fina, but it's not as urgent as your dad says it is. You can explore the underground part of the base for a while now or leave it til later if you prefer; as well as a tavern filled with off-duty Blue Rogues, there's a shop with weapons and some healing items, but much of it will be out of your budget at the moment.
Dyne's office is right at the top of the underground base, just before the steel walkway leading to the outside of the island. Inside, Vyse's father is determined to find out who Fina is. You're given the options to "Defend Fina" or "Sit quietly and listen" - respecting your Captain is the better option for your Swashbuckler Rating at this point. Once Dyne is convinced that Fina poses no threat to his crew or family, you'll be allowed to leave the underground base and explore Pirate Isle proper.
First, though, take a look at the bookcase in the rear right corner of Dyne's office - it should move back, revealing a ladder behind it. Climb down and you'll find a chest containing 150 gold.
Once you're outside, Aika will head off to freshen up after the raid, leaving Vyse to be Fina's guide to Pirate Isle. As well as a Save Point, there are another few chests around here. Behind the turnip patch at Granny's house you'll find "Sacri Crystal" x3, and following the wooden walkway up to the other small island will net you "Magic Droplet" x2. On Lookout Island, at the top of the ladder directly outside Vyse's house, you'll find "Sacri Crystal" x3. Finally, look at the monument beside Vyse's house and it'll open, leading to a ledge in the underground pirate base. There's a chest here with "Moonberry" x1.
You can also talk to the people standing around, and if you speak to the kids they'll play a game of hide and seek with you. Pow is hiding between Vyse's house and the well; Jimmy is behind a sheet beside the training building; Lindsi is between the Vyse's house and the monument mentioned above; and Alan is beside Aika's house. When you've found all four of them, they'll tell you about Dyne's bookcase.
As another distraction, you can see Aika with her hair down by going to the side of her house and looking at the hankerchief on the wall.
When you're done exploring, go into Vyse's house and Aika will catch up with you. Vyse's mother will tell you that she'll call you when dinner's done, and Aika suggests you should go up to Lookout Island to watch the sunset. Run up the ramp just in front of Vyse's house and then climb the ladder to get there.
Vyse starts to wax lyrical about his dreams for the future, his ambitions and his determination to see what lies "beyond the sunset", when suddenly what looks like a meteor shower starts. A flash of light shoots past Pirate Isle and crashes into the nearby Shrine Island - Vyse and Aika realise it's a huge Moon Stone, part of the Silver Moon that's fallen to earth and can be used for fuel or to make weapons.
The pair have just decided that tomorrow would be a good day for an expedition to recover the Moon Stone when Vyse's mother calls them for dinner. As Vyse and Aika head down, Fina looks wistfully at the Silver Moon before climbing down the ladder.
Officially known as "Windmill Island", Pirate Isle is the home of Dyne's crew of Blue Rogues, and the port of his ship The Albatross.
Pirate Isle is divided into two areas - the secret pirate base underground, and the quiet village above-ground. The underground base is where you'll find the weapon and item stores, while there are a number of items to be found in chests around both the village and base.
