Fable/Digging Locations

Digging is so simple, you just watch the lower left side of your screen for the spade to appear in the action button (
) and then press the button and you get the treasure.
You can find Silver Keys, Golden Carrots and some other valuable items.
[edit] Digging Location 01 - Greatwood Entrance
When you're walking from Lookout Point, go straight until you hit the wide open area, go left, the path that goes to Orchard Farm has a large group of rocks on the right, go past the rocks and follow that edge. You will see a ring of mushrooms around a brown patch of ground. Stand on the patch and use your shovel (it should appear on the Dpad display).
- When you dig up this area you will get
- 1 x Golden Carrot

Go towards the house, but stick right and follow the narrow path, at the end you will find a grave, step up to it and you should see the spade appear on the screen, dig.
- Dig here and you will find
- 1 x Upper Dress
[edit] Digging Location 03 - Orchard Farm
There is a digging location on the path AFTER the apple trees, just pay attention to your onscreen Dpad display for the shovel to appear. The problem is, you dig and your guy cheers like he normally does when you find something, but you don't get anything... anyway, if you feel like checking it out for yourself, go for it.

[edit] Digging Location 04 - Barrowfields
At the little trader camp, go to the river, between the trader at the top of that little hill and the tent below on your left, is a fire pit, stand between the water and the fire pit and dig.
- When you dig up this area you will get
- 1 x Golden Carrot

To the left of the house is a ring of flowers, dig in the center.

[edit] Digging Location 06 - Focus Chamber
Go all the way through the Hobbe Cave from the Entrance, to the Main Chamber, to the Moonlit Tunnel, into the Focus Chamber. At the back on the right-hand side is a ring of mushrooms, dig in the middle.
- When you dig up this area you will get
- Silver Key #10 - Focus Chamber
[edit] Digging Location 07 - Oakvale
Go past the mercenary on the right hand side of the map, keep your eye on the left side of the path, there is a grave, dig it up.
- When you dig up this area you will get
- 500 gold

On the left hand side of the docks at the main beach is a buried treasure that once belonged to a pirate, who is now a ghost.
- When you dig up this area you will get
- 500 gold
[edit] Digging Location 09 - Memorial Garden
In the Memorial Garden is a statue of a man wielding a weapon, on the left-hand side is the ghost pirate's treasure, dig it up to comple the quest.
- When you dig up this area you will get
- 1 x Obsidian Greataxe
- Silver Key #12 - Memorial Garden

Go up the path, left from the statue, against the back wall on the left hand side of the nearby crypt, the second grave.
- When you dig up this area you will get
- 1 x Health Potion

Across from Digging Location 10 - Memorial Garden, on the last grave stone before going back down the hill, is another digging location.
- When you dig up this area you will find
- 1 x Golden Carrot

Half way up the upper path (left coming from the Underground Tunnel) is a chest, to the right of the chest is a ring of mushrooms around a patch of dirt, dig on the dirt.
