Here are grouped all the quests you can find in Albion, inside each category the quests appear in the order they appear in the game.

Core Quests are quests that have to be completed to finish the game. You are given some automatically, the others you have to take from the Guild of Heroe's and they have the gold icon.

Optional Quests are quests you do not have to do, but often provide nice amounts of gold, renown, experience and items. If you take an optional quest, you can not fail it an move on, if you fail it, you either have to restart it or skip it. You get optional quests from the Heroes' Guild and they are the silver icon quests.

Side quests are quests that you don't get from the guild, or quests that you can stumble upon and have nothing to do with anything in the game other than the added effect to realism in the world of Albion. Some side quests do appear in your quest log with a bronze icon, some, most in fact do not even appear in your quest log, nor do they count towards your quests completed in your personality.
