Final Fantasy Tactics Advance/Laws

There are many laws in the land of Ivalice which you must follow, and they are arranged into sets. As you progress through the main missions of the game, you will have to follow a certain set of these laws at a time. Breaking these laws causes you to suffer its penalty. If use a recommended ability instead, you receive a Judge Point.

These are the penalties and their effects.

AP FineOne ability of your offending unit's mastered abilities will have its AP reduced. This will cause the ability to have a need to be relearned by the unit.
Monster RunOne random monster from the Monster Bank will run away.
Card FineThe clan will lose a number of cards
Gil FineThe clan will lose Gil
Status DownThe unit's stats will be lowered.
Item FineThe clan will lose items
Equipment FineThe unit will lose an equipped item.
VolunteerYou will not receive the Gil reward at the end of the mission.
