Pelleas throws a grand feast in celebration of the news that Begnion is investigating what has been happening in Daein during their rule because he is certain that the investigation will end the war. Angry with this decision, Jarod sets off to find and kill Micaiah for revenge. Micaiah leaves the feast and rests alone, where she is found and confronted by Jarod and his men.
The battle[edit]
At the base, buy Micaiah any weapons or items she may need, view the info conversations, save, then start the chapter.
In this chapter, your sight is hindered by what's known as the fog of war. Because of this fog, you can only see what is on the squares nearest you. Because of this, it is best if you move the Black Knight ahead of Micaiah to see where the enemies are. After doing so, position Micaiah in a spot where the enemies cannot reach her so that she does not run the risk of dying. Once all the enemies you can find have been killed, Jarod will appear in the bottom-right corner of the map. To complete the chapter, you should send over the Black Knight to kill him. If you are struggling in this chapter, make frequent use of the battle save option so that you don't miss out on many turns if Micaiah dies.
