Level Select[edit]
At the introduction screen, hold

and press 
. Release and but keep held down. Move the cursor to Options and press + . Highlight Exit and press + . Highlight your choice of players and press + . Choose Normal Game and press + . Choose your character and then press 
+ + + . A blank screen should now appear, showing a single number in the center of the screen. Release now. Use and to change the stage number, then press when it's at the stage you want.
Extra Continues[edit]
Highlight Options, hold + + , and press Start. Release but keep + held. Set what options you want, ensuring difficulty remains on Normal. Exit the Options menu and start a new Normal Game and you should see eight credits at the selection screen.
