Career mode[edit]
The career mode in Guitar Hero World Tour is similar to the career mode in previous games. Players play sets and earn cash which can be used to buy in-game merchandise. However, opposed to previous versions, players choose which set to play, and must complete the entire set before being able to play the songs by themselves in career mode.
Quickplay mode[edit]
The quickplay mode allows players to play together, or by themselves. You can play songs by themselves, or create a set of up to 6 songs. Quickplay also allows players to obtain cash.
