Rocky roadblocks
Sometimes a rock contains a rare gem that will require better rubrub skills to finish polishing. Once your love meter is at the next rank you will be able to continue.

There are 2 types of rocks: tiny round ones and big flat ones. Later in the game the Rubrub room will be unlocked. This is where you can rub (polish) the rocks.

After being polished the rock will become 1 of 5 things
  • Nothing
  • A sunflower seed
  • An acorn
  • A lv1 gem
  • A blue rock

If the rock turns blue then that is a good thing. This means the gem in the rock is a higher level than 1. These are rare. You will have to polish this rock again to find out what fancy gem inside is.

Rock color progression
Color Description Meter lv*
Dark grey A normal rock.
Blue The rock has been polished once
Red The rock has been polished twice

*Note: The love meter will change color when it goes up a rank.
