Spring of the second year is over, and we are about halfway to the evaluation! A new season would usually mean a change in crops and gathering, but with the greenhouse and the money it is starting to make, neither really matter anymore. Last summer was crazy and hectic, but this year it will be much more relaxing. This season will be about making friends and finishing up requirements, but there will be a few new events to come now that you are married.

Summer 1st and 2nd[edit]

The marriage trend will take a short break on the first for the Fireworks Festival. Around town, you may notice a few changes in both character locations and dialogue. The girls will be talking about their respective husbands, though now all the midwife will be talking about is how she expects you to make a baby for her. Since today is both a Thursday and a holiday, Green Ranch is closed, so if your animals got sick, you're just going to have to wait a bit longer before you can heal any of them. Now that you're married, depending on who you chose, there's a good chance that she will do some of your work for you. Do your farm work in the morning, then run through the village and Moon Mountain with gifts in the afternoon. At night, come back to the farm to watch the fireworks with your new wife. If you are on the farm before sundown, you'll have to leave the area, then come back to find her standing in front of the house. Talk to her and watch the fireworks.

Don't put your animals away just yet, because on the 2nd, the marriage wagon continues! The last bachelor will stop by today and inform you of his spontaneous marriage. Another work-free day and party until midnight.

Summer 3rd-6th[edit]

Deal with your greenhouse, then check in with your animals. If one or more of them are sick, that's okay. Make your morning about running to Green Ranch, buying medicine and healing your animals. You're not allowed to carry more than one medicine at a time, so it will take multiple trips if you have more than one sick animal. Herd them back in if you want, or leave them out if you have grass to spare. As long as it doesn't rain, it doesn't make much difference.

When it's 9:00, go to the Flower Shop and buy the Blue Mist Flower. Popuri will take you up to the mountain and tell you that you have to water this spot every day. When you run up through Moon Mountain, just add watering the spot to your list of things to do. If you mess it up, it's really no big deal- you just have to buy the seed again and start over. When you're making your way through the mountain, if you have all the extensions, then don't worry about chopping stumps anymore. If you don't have them all yet, then keep chopping stumps until you have enough for them. Otherwise, make sure you give flowers out to the carpenters and the fisherman when you come up to visit.

If you've been watering the Pink Cat Mint Flowers, they should be blooming soon. When they do, Stu will stop by and ask to trade some marbles for a flower. If he doesn't then you likely aren't good enough friends with him. Give him a few flowers until he decides to stop by. When you get the marbles, bring them up the cave in Moon Mountain. Walk up to the little hole behind the harvest elf and open it like it were any other door. Inside, you will find a couple more harvest elves. Talk to any of them (they're all the same) and give them the marbles in exchange for a power berry. After this, you can dig up the flowers if you want and give them out to people.

Summer 7th-8th[edit]

These are normal days, but switch your gift list up with people who you don't normally visit. If you've been ignoring the mayor, Anna, Saibara, the Potion Master, the pastor, or anyone else around town, make them a priority. On one of these nights, when you return home, your wife will be waiting for you to take you up to the river in Moon Mountain. You'll send a bamboo float down the river and make a wish. You can wish for whatever you want- it probably doesn't make much a difference to the game's events.

Summer 9th[edit]

The Vegetable Festival takes place today. Instead of going out and giving gifts, water the Blue Mist Flower, then spend the day tilling your field and planting grass until 3:30pm. Make sure to get to the town square before 5:00pm. You don't have to submit a vegetable, but if you've got something growing and you have money to spare, go for it. You don't get anything for winning, but it's still nice to win it. Either way, you will automatically sleep.

Summer 10th-13th[edit]

These days are normal days. If you've made good friends with everyone in town, start making a habit of grabbing some of your flowers (if Stu already gave you the marbles), running to the restaurant at the top of Moon Mountain with a couple of herbs, and giving them to the two old geezers up there, then giving out gifts to the carpenters and fisherman on your way back. Don't forget about the Blue Mist Flower! Check the recipe list and make sure you have all of the recipes that aren't seasonally conditional. At night, till your field and plant grass.

Summer 14th-16th[edit]

The 14th is Ann's birthday. This doesn't matter much unless she is your wife, in which case she will have dinner planned when you get home. Talk to her after eating to wish her a happy birthday and give her a present before going to sleep. If a typhoon happens to blow through, it's not all that bad- you should have plenty of money and the prize of the swimming contest this year is 500 wood pieces. If you lose the greenhouse, just return to chopping stumps again until you have enough to rebuild it.

Summer 17th[edit]

The Firefly Festival is today. It's otherwise a normal day with the added task of heading to the beach after 6:00pm. If you didn't give Rick a moonstone last year, you don't get a firefly light from him this year. This festival is basically the same as last year.

Summer 18th-23rd[edit]

The game may be starting to get repetitive at this point, but summer's about over. After dealing with your farm, head up to Moon Mountain and give gifts to the old restaurant owners, the carpenters, and fisherman. After this, return to your farm and plant grass seeds.

Summer 24th[edit]

The Sea Festival takes place today. Everything is closed, so there's not much else to do after the farm work is done. Unless you lost your greenhouse and need to chop some stumps first, go ahead on run down to the beach. This festival is the same as it was last year, and just as easy. Just tap the 'A' button to victory. The prize this year is 500 lumber, so if you lost your greenhouse or still need wood for the log terrace, this should help. If this isn't the case, the lumber is still useful for making fences later.

Summer 25th-30th[edit]

For the last days of summer, just keep on keeping on. After farm work, head up to the restaurant on Moon Mountain and give gifts to the owners there and everyone you run into in between. At night, plant grass seeds or head to the bar and start giving out your flowers to whoever decides to show up. If it's near the end of the season and you know you aren't going to get those flowers out before Fall, fill up your cabinet with them for use in later seasons. If you've been nice to your wife, she should be starting to act strange. Don't worry, this is a good thing!
