"Civil" is the second map on the German side of the campaign. It introduces armored vehicles, trains, boats and factories. It is the first map that uses the winter tileset. This map covers the timeframe from October to November 1914.

Use your Cavalry to quickly take over the factories #6 and #7. Use one of the Supply Cars to bring the Medium Artillerys from your HQ north.

The best position to set up a defense is the place west of factory #6. You can use the entrenchments here to gain an advantage in defense. You can also use the Armored Train here to defend yourself against the incoming enemies. It's best to place the two Medium Artillery from your HQ on the street between factory #6 and the entrenchment and the Medium Artillery from the factory directly in front of it (together with some ground units to defend it). You can also produce additional Artillery units if the need arises.

Most units from your main force should not be repaired in factory #6 but alternatively in factory #9 and depot #10 (or even your HQ if you’re really desperate). Use the Supply Train and the Supply Cars to keep repair time at a minimum.

The small force at factory #7 should basically stay there and only defend the factory. You don't really need those extra units in your main force and they can be used to bind additional units from the enemy’s factory #5.

Once you survived the first big waves of enemy units, you can start to take over the enemy’s factories one by one. It's best to start with #5 and go north from there. Be careful when you approach the HQ and factory #3: the Heavy Artillery and the Bunkers there can damage a lot of units before you get a chance to take them down. It's best do take out the bunkers with your own long range artillery and attack the Heavy Artillery with your Armored Train, which should have maximum experience by now.

Taking over the enemy HQ is a lot easier than taking out all enemy units in this level, since the enemy usually keeps his Patrol Boats out of your reach. That's why it would require a few extra turns to attack and eliminate them.
