The entrance to the Precursor Basin is on the path past the Geologist. You will be riding the Zoomer the entire time. There are 200 Precursor Orbs and 8 Power Cells to collect.
Herd the Moles into their Hole[edit]
The Lightning Moles are guided the same way as the Yakows in Sandover Village, except they don't have to be hit. They are faster than the Yakows and more difficult to guide due to riding on the Zoomer. If you successfully guide a lightning mole into the hole you will see a brief cutscene. The moles are all in the first area.
When you get the last mole into its hole Daxter will tell you to get the Power Cell from the Geologist.
Catch the Flying Lurkers[edit]
Beat Record Time on the Gorge[edit]
You have 45 seconds to complete the course. Collect any blue Eco and jump off Lurkers for speed. Avoid all dark Eco boxes. When you beat the time, go talk to the Gambler for the power cell.
Get the Power Cell over the Lake[edit]
This Power Cell is in the section with the infected plants. Climb the rocks and ruins, jumping off each formation. When you reach the final jump, go back far enough to reach full speed at the ramp. When you jump, hold on to the accelerator until you hit the power cell.
Cure Dark Eco Infected Plants[edit]
Once you find the infested plants, there should be a green eco vent nearby. Using this, hold the X AND square, gas and brake, to make your Zoomer slightly slower but easier to control. Circle around the infested plants moving slowly inward, keeping the plants concentrated to one spot. This may take more that one trip to the green eco
