Swords[edit]

Name Price Stats Description
Sword - +0 DP This is the basic sword that you begin the game with. It is the weakest weapon.
Long Sword 300 Gold +5 DP The first sword which you can buy from the town north of the castle.
Buster Sword 600 Gold +13 DP This stronger sword is said to be sold in a town that sunk into a lake.
Broad Sword 1000 Gold +17 DP A sword of flame that is said to be the treasure of Bedouin.
Great Sword 2000 Gold +25 DP The strongest sword in all of Alitania, it is rumored to have been forged by Gladrif himself.
Sword of Kalin - +25 DP This legendary sword is the only one which can damage the greatest evil. It cannot be bought, it must be summoned.

Armor[edit]

Name Price Stats Description
Chain Mail - +0 AC This is the armor that you start the game with, and affords you the minimum protection.
Scale Mail 150 Gold +3 AC Scale Mail is light and easy to move in, although its defense power is not high.
Plate Mail 320 Gold +7 DP A very heavy armor, only the strongest can equip it, but it provides great defense.
Silver Mail 800 Gold +12 DP This enchanted armor protects not only against physical attacks, but magical attacks as well.

Shields[edit]

Name Price Stats Description
Fencer Shield - +0 AC You begin with this small shield which provides little protection.
Soldier Shield 50 Gold +2 AC A Soldier's Shield is carved from the fallen scale of a dragon.
Hero Shield 100 Gold +5 DP Only a strong warrior can carry this heavy, but protective shield.
God's Shield 1000 Gold +12 DP Alitania's strongest shield, a low level fighter has no chance to carry this.

Items[edit]

Name Description
Pixie Dust This dust can be obtain by donating a mere 1 Gold in a southern town. It is used to restore dried up wells.
Magic Water The magical water which rushes up from a once dried up well is said to unlock the healing powers of certain fruit.
Selina Fruit The fruit from the lone Selina tree on the west coast can cure almost any cursed illness, but only if mixed with magic water.
Necklace The daughter of the weapons shop north of the castle has an affinity for Necklaces. If you can find one to give to her, she will trade it for the ring she has.
Heal Potion You may purchase up to 5 of these at the price of 30 Gold apiece from various towns. Restores a good portion of health.
Magic Potion You may also purchase up to 5 of these at the price of 50 Gold each. Restores some of your lost magic.
Black Mask This device will actually filter the air, keeping poisonous gas found in some caves from entering your lungs.
Ring of Truth The wearer of this ring will be able to see through disguises and recognize the true forms of those he speaks with.
Silver Bell The Silver Bell is known to ring at a frequency which can break large curses. It must be blessed before it can function.
Talisman Possession of the Talisman will grant one with the power to pass through magical barriers.
Amulet The Amulet is a powerful magical device that allows ones to shift to the parallel dimension Len. It costs 5 magic points to use.
Glacier Crystal The purest crystal formed from the coldest glacier has the power to freeze any substance it touches, even lava.
Gladrif's Key Gladrif has a key to his own study in the castle, which he locked shortly before his disappearance.
Ruby Gem This seemingly insignificant stone is the key to a great mystery.
Flame Rod By equipping this Item, you will be able to shoot burst of flame at the enemy from across the battle field, at a cost of 2 magic points per use.
Read Helmet The Helmet of Reading allows the wearer to read and understand an arcane and mystical language used to inform those who quest for knowledge.
Angel Statue Possession of the Angel Statue will endow the owner to recover magic at twice the usual rate. It's effect is automatic.
Thunder Rod The Thunder Rod casts a spell more powerful than the Fire Rod; at the cost of 4 magic points per use, you can send forth bolts of lightning.
Platinum Key This is another key that unlocks a door in the basement of Aremu Castle. You must first obtain it from a chest in the first floor.
Zircon Key This key is needed to unlock a door in Aremu Castle. It is being held by a spy located in the kingdom.
Red Idol Locked away in someone's room, the Red Idol bestows great strength to the user at the cost of 10 magic points per use.
Blue Idol Hidden in the second story of a far away castle, the Blue Idol will damage enemies that have surround it's holder. 9 magic points per use.
Black Idol Lost in the plain another dimension, the Black Idol has the power to slow down one's enemies, but at a hefty 20 magic points per use.
White Idol Incredibly invaluable, the White Idol has the ability to heal small portions of damage in exchange for 5 magic points. It is the favorite possession of young royalty.
Gold Idol Buried in a cave in another dimension, the Gold Idol has the ability to damage all nearby enemies at 20 magic points per attack.
Spell Book The Spell Book contains the method by which one may summon the Sword of Kalin once the five Idols have been collected.
