The following is a list of mini-games that make up the game's main story. Mini-games that follow can be seen here.

Episode 00[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 00.png
  • Controls: Up dpad Down dpad Dodge, A button Speed Up, B button Brake
  • Goal: Escape from the dogs!

Escape from the dogs chasing Tsuna by reaching the end of the mini-map at the top of the bottom screen. Cars will occassionally zoom forward from the back of the screen; use the d-pad to cross behind or in front of them along with utilizing the speed/brake functions with appropriate timing before they can crash into Tsuna, slowing him down and allowing the dogs to catch up to him.

Episode 01[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 01.png
  • Controls: Left dpad Right dpad Dodge
  • Goal: Dodge the upperclassman's hits!

It's daily life for Tsuna as he's picked on by a bully from the kendo club. Move Tsuna left and right according to the upperclassman's movements to avoid his strikes. The gauge at the top-left of the screen represents Tsuna's health; have some health remaining, no matter how little, by the time the counter at the bottom-left clocks out in order to complete the mini-game.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 01-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Tear out the upperclassman's hair!

Following the previous mini-game, Tsuna is shot with a Dying Will Bullet by Reborn, transforming him into a man determined to fulfill his dying will: fight back against the upperclassman! Dying Will Tsuna is now on top of the upperclassman, and the goal of this mini-game is to humiliate him into apologizing. Swipe the touch screen with the stylus left and right vigorously until time runs out. Fill the gauge to 100% to completely tear out his hair and complete the mini-game.

Episode 02[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 02.png
  • Controls: Neutral dpad Move
  • Goal: Dodge Gokudera's dynamite!

Gokudera has arrived, and although the students watching think Tsuna's running from toys, Gokudera's dynamite is no joke. Move Tsuna so that he dodges the dynamite being thrown from the top screen until time runs out. Watch the shadows of the falling dynamite to make sure Tsuna doesn't end up in their trajectory. If he does end up nearby, the dynamite takes a little while to after falling to actually detonate, so simply run away quickly enough to avoid any damage.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 02-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Defuse the dynamite!

After the first "battle", Gokudera isn't ready to quit, but now that Reborn has shot him with a Dying Will Bullet, neither is Tsuna. Gokudera is still throwing dynamite, but this time, instead of running from it, Tsuna defuses it. After Gokudera throws his dynamite, the screen will freeze for a short while, with red targets appearing around the dynamite that must be defused. Tap them so that the targets around them turn green, and once time restarts, they'll fall to the ground, now unable to hurt Tsuna. The numbers that they're thrown in will increase from 1 to 6 at a time, so be wary until Gokudera runs out of dynamite.

Part 3[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 02-3.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Drag
  • Goal: Save Gokudera from the dynamite!

Gokudera has landed himself in a bit of a mess, and although helping out a homicidal bomb-chucking maniac isn't something many people would do, that's just the kind of guy Tsuna is. Drag the active dynamite away from the panicking Gokudera until the screen is clear of any threats; take too long to do so and the dynamite will go off, killing Tsuna's future ally. Complete the mini-game successfully and Gokudera will be so thrilled that he swears eternal allegiance to an exasperated Tsuna.

Episode 03[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 03.png
  • Controls: Neutral dpad Move
  • Goal: Dodge the hazards!

Yamamoto has agreed to undergo Reborn's training with an unwilling Tsuna, which is how the next mini-game begins. Gokudera and Reborn will be throwing dynamite and knives, respectively, from the top screen. The knives are thrown successively in a straight line and the dynamite are thrown in random groups, just as in Episode 02's first mini-game. Both weapons have shadows, so pay attention to them as you run. Avoid getting hit by all dynamite and knives by the time the countdown finishes in order to complete the mini-game.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 03-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Save Yamamoto from falling to his death!

It's all fun and games until Yamamoto falls off of the school's roof. Tsuna panics, at a loss, until Reborn again shoots him with the Dying Will Bullet. Following his transformation, Tsuna recklessly jumps off the edge of the building after Yamamoto, grabbing him and leading into the next mini-game. Swipe the stylus left and right quickly until the gauge at the top of the screen reaches 100% in order to cushion the pair's fall and save them from certain death. Following completion of the mini-game, the pattern continues as Yamamoto gratefully agrees to follow Tsuna into the deadly lifestyle of the mafia (although he still believes it's all just a game).

Episode 04[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 04.png
  • Controls: Neutral dpad Move
  • Goal: Dodge Lambo's grenades and Bianchi's poison!

This plays just as the previous dodge mini-games, but a bit more chaotic. Lambo's grenades act just as Gokudera's dynamite, detonating a short while after they hit the ground, but with a bit more range; getting caught in a grenade blast results in a loss. Alternatively, getting hit by or walking into the range of Bianchi's poison isn't fatal, but it does create a slippery effect that slows down Tsuna's movements, potentially resulting in vulnerability to a rogue grenade toss. Avoid both hazards by the time the countdown finishes to clear the mini-game.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 04-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Drag
  • Goal: Eat all of the poison!

Following the previous mini-game, the scene changes to a peaceful gathering of some of Tsuna's classmates, including new follower Yamamoto and crush Kyoko. Just as always, the peace is interrupted as a catastrophic situation occurs right before Tsuna's eyes; Bianchi is serving the students, and her food is undoubtedly laced with poison. Reborn shoots a panicked Tsuna with the Dying Will Bullet and in his new form, he resolves to eat all of the poison before any of his friends can get hurt. Drag the cakes to Tsuna to make him gobble them up and save his friends some grief.

Part 3[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 04-3.png
  • Controls: None
  • Goal: Ignore Lambo!

This mini-game is straight-forward, as it simply requires you to press nothing in order to complete it. Lambo will begin by enthusiastically attempting to get Tsuna's attention, before beginning to lose hope and tearing up. This devolves into him sobbing hysterically as he screams before finally retreating to a corner of the room. No matter what, press nothing through the whole ordeal and the mini-game will eventually be cleared. It may feel cruel, but sometimes that's just what's needed from a mafia boss.

Episode 05[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 05.png
  • Controls: Down dpad Duck
  • Goal: Dodge Haru's attacks!

The next mini-game begins when a student from a nearby all-girls middle school named Haru approaches Tsuna in her armor, ready to punish him for bringing baby Reborn into danger. Because Tsuna is a gentleman (and a coward), he won't be fighting back; the only action you can perform is a duck. Watch for the timing of Haru's swings, as she takes longer to complete some swings than others, and Tsuna can only hold a crouch for so long. Deplete the health bar fully for a loss and stay alive by the time the countdown ends to move onto the second part of the episode.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 05-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Circle
  • Goal: Save Haru from drowning!

The ever-loyal Gokudera happens to be walking by when he sees his boss, Tsuna, getting attacked by a mysterious armor-wearing opponent. Unaware that a middle school girl is inside, he tosses some dynamite at the assailant and Haru goes falling into the river down below, weighed down by her armor and on-track to drown. Tsuna is at a loss until Reborn forces him to spring into action by shooting him with a Dying Will Bullet, and Tsuna jumps in after Haru to rescue her. Rapidly form circles with the stylus on the touch screen in order for Tsuna to swim Haru to safety; he'll occasionally find himself swimming against a current, making it more difficult to gain any progress on the gauge. Nevertheless, fill the gauge to 100% before time runs out to reach the shore, resulting in a cleared mini-game and a new ally for Tsuna.

Episode 06[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 06.png
  • Controls: Left dpad Right dpad Dodge
  • Goal: Dodge Hibari's attacks!

Tsuna's next attacker is the leader of the school's corrupt prefects, with tonfa ready to attack dissenters at any moment. Hibari's swings have a lot of range, making this one of the more difficult dodging mini-games. Three his result in a loss, and his swings will start to become more frequent as less time remains. Avoid losing all health until time runs out to complete the mini-game.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 06-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Fight back against Hibari!

Reborn shoots Tsuna with the Dying Will Bullet, beginning his counterattack against the intimidating upperclassman. Touch Hibari on the touch screen with the stylus before he gets too close to Tsuna to punch him before he can strike Tsuna. Deplete his health before he depletes Tsuna's to complete the mini-game.

Part 3[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 06-3.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Overpower Hibari!

Tsuna and Hibari are ready to conclude their battle in a clash of wills, with both students appearing unwilling to back down. Swipe the stylus left and right rapidly on the touch screen until the gauge representing their energy is filled with Tsuna's red. Accomplish this before time runs out to complete the mini-game and obtain another capable follower.

Episode 07[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 07.png
  • Controls: Left dpad Right dpad Dodge
  • Goal: Dodge Ryohei's attacks!

Ryohei Sasagawa, upperclassman and brother to Tsuna's crush Kyoko, challenges Tsuna to a boxing match supervised by Reborn. Watch for Ryohei's swings to avoid his punches; he'll usually move to the far left to punch and then repeat the action to the far right before attempting to follow Tsuna's movements for a third punch. Move to the opposite corners of the screen and stay there until he begins to move again to avoid ending up in front of his punch. Reach the time limit without using all health to complete the mini-game.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 07-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Fight back against Ryohei!

Just as Tsuna was forced to fight against Hibari, Reborn shoots Tsuna with the Dying Will Bullet in order to help him defend himself. Touch Ryohei on the touch screen with the stylus before he can perform his own attack. When he glows yellow, a red target appears on him; touch his face to punch him before touching the targets to block his attacks. The targets will turn green when touched, indicating a successfully-blocked punch. Deplete his health before he depletes yours to complete the mini-game.

Part 3[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 07-3.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Circle
  • Goal: Throw I-Pin away!

After his fight, Tsuna is approached by I-Pin, who is followed by Hibari. I-Pin has the ability to detonate herself like a bomb, but that ability is also activated when she becomes anxious or nervous. I-Pin happens to have a crush on Hibari, and so the detonation begins. Dying Will Tsuna runs to the roof and starts to swing I-Pin around in order to throw her as far away as possible from civilization. Form rapid circles with the stylus on the touch screen in the direction indicated by the arrows. When the gauge fills to 100%, let go to send her flying. The countdown to the explosion is shown in the bottom-right of the screen; as the tiles decrease in number, so does time.

Episode 08[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 08.png
  • Controls: Down dpad Beg
  • Goal: Beg Dr. Shamal for treatment!

When Tsuna is sick, he meets Dr. Shamal, the perverted doctor. Because he is only interested in treating women, Tsuna must beg on his knees for the doctor's assistance. Beg repeatedly until the gauge reaches 100% and before time runs out for Dr. Shamal to finally give in.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 08-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Stop Dr. Shamal's mosquitoes!

All is well and good until Kyoko arrives and triggers Dr. Shamal's perverted side. Reborn shoots Tsuna with the Dying Will Bullet in order to give him the resolve he needs to stop Dr. Shamal from hurting his crush. Touch the targets on the drug-carrying mosquitoes with the stylus in order to turn them green, neutralizing them. Stop all mosquitoes from passing to complete the mini-game.

Episode 09[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 09.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Climb the pole!

The school is participating in a festival, and an unwilling Tsuna is chosen to climb the pole for his team. As always, Reborn shoots Tsuna with the Dying Will Bullet to give him an extra push. Swipe upward on the touch screen with the stylus until Tsuna reaches the end of the mini-map and before time runs out to complete the mini-game. Releasing the stylus for too long will result in Tsuna dropping back down to the bottom, so keep a quick pace.

Episode 10[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 10.png
  • Controls: Down dpad Beg, Up dpad Stop begging
  • Goal: Beg the yakuza for forgiveness!

Tsuna gets caught up in some trouble with the yakuza, and now the only thing he can do is beg them not to hurt him. Beg repeatedly while they're turned towards Tsuna to fill the gauge, and stop begging (repeatedly) when they turn away to also fill the gauge. Repeat the pattern until the gauge is full to complete the mini-game. Perform the wrong action at the wrong time and the gauge will drop.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 10-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Defeat the yakuza!

Just as Tsuna is let go, Reborn arrives to shoot him with a Dying Will Bullet and reverse his pathetic acts. Tsuna is now ready to quit begging and fight back against the yakuza. Touch the attacking men with the stylus on the touch screen to make Tsuna punch them before they can strike him. The number of yakuza remaining is shown in a number at the bottom-left of the screen, while Tsuna's health is at the top-left. Defeat them all without losing all health to complete the mini-game, cementing Tsuna's status as a formidable mafia boss and inducing another panic attack.

Episode 11[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 11.png
  • Controls: Up dpad Down dpad Dodge, A button Speed Up, B button Brake
  • Goal: Escape from the rival mafia!

Fuuta, a young boy that also happens to be a mafia informant, meets Tsuna. Unfortunately, his great amount of knowledge makes him a target for other mafia families, and now Tsuna must protect his asset and ally from kidnapping. This mini-game plays similarly to the very first one, albeit more difficult; Tsuna cannot afford to get run over by any cars here, no matter his lead, as the men in suits are quick to catch up. Reach the end of the mini-map to clear the mini-game.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 11-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Catch the rival mafia!

After a lengthy run, Reborn shoots Tsuna with the Dying Will Bullet, turning the chase around. Slide the stylus on the touch screen repeatedly in the direction indicated. Catch up to them before they reach the end of the mini-map and Tsuna will punish them violently for their trouble, clearing the mini-game and gaining another ally in Fuuta.

Episode 12[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 12.png
  • Controls: Left dpad Right dpad Dodge
  • Goal: Dodge the snowballs!

Reborn decides its time for Tsuna and his loyal family (at the moment consisting only of Gokudera, Yamamoto, and Ryohei) to have a mock fight with an ally mafia family, the Cavallone family, led by a previous student of Reborn's named Dino. They will usually throw their snowballs horizontally one after the other, leaving a small space for Tsuna to dodge them through. Try not to move around too much and find the pattern, switching between only two spaces if you have to. Survive the countdown without getting hit by a snowball to clear the mini-game and move onto the next test.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 12-2.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Fight back against the Cavallone family!

Thanks to a well-timed bullet from Reborn, Dying Will Tsuna leads his family's counterattack against Dino's. Swipe the touch screen with the stylus left and right to pelt Dino and his subordinates with snowballs whenever they crouch down to build an artillery. Swipe the touch screen with the stylus up and down when Dino and his subordinates return the favor with snowballs of their own in order to defend Tsuna's family against them. Fill the gauge with Tsuna's red in order to clear the mini-game and gain a competitive camaraderie with Dino.

Episode 13[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 13.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Prove Yamamoto's innocence!

In a mini-game parodying the popular Ace Attorney series, Tsuna and friends participate in a mock courtroom scenario. It's up to Phoenix Wright-esque Dying Will Tsuna to defend the helpless Yamamoto from a crime he didn't commit. The top screen details Gokudera's testimony while the bottom screen offers you control. Touch the right arrow button with the stylus until you reach the final part of Gokudera's testimony, then select the big center button in order for Tsuna to perform an "OBJECTION!" Do the same with the third and fourth parts of his testimony, in that order, to convince Judge Reborn of Yamamoto's innocence.

Episode 14[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 14.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Overpower "Mukuro"!

It appears that Tsuna has finally found the gangster that's been threatening his family, and Reborn's Dying Will Bullet is reassurance that Tsuna won't go down without a fight. "Mukuro" will toss his iron ball in Tsuna's direction, beginning a clash of power. Swipe the stylus on the touch screen left and right vigorously until the gauge is filled with Tsuna's red. Overpower the gangster to learn his true identity and be brought face-to-face with the real Mukuro.

Episode 15[edit]

Part 1[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 15.png
  • Controls: Up dpad Down dpad Dodge, A button Speed Up, B button Brake
  • Goal: Escape the crumbling building!

Tsuna and Gokudera arrive at the headquarters of Mukuro's Kokuyo Gang, only to be immediately attacked by Chikusa, a subordinate of Mukuro's. Gokudera takes on Chikusa so that his boss can move forward, and Tsuna enters the building only to run into Mukuro himself. A terrified Tsuna must now dodge his way out of the collapsing building. The floor is falling behind Tsuna's feet, and boulders are dropping from the ceiling. Keep running speedily and use the d-pad to dodge the boulders by avoiding their shadows. Make it to the end of the mini-map to proceed to the next part of Tsuna's confrontation with Mukuro.

Part 2[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 15-2.png
  • Controls: Left dpad Right dpad Dodge
  • Goal: Dodge Mukuro's snakes!

Reborn arrives just in time to explain Mukuro's illusion ability to Tsuna, but a newly-angered Mukuro is now ready to go on the offensive. Similarly to the snowball attack, Tsuna can only move left and right as Mukuro sends groups of snakes after him. After Mukuro stomps his trident on the top screen, watch closely for a gap and move quickly, as the snakes don't leave much room for error. Get hit by one snake and suffer a loss, but make it through the countdown without getting hit and clear the mini-game. The snakes only move faster with time, so a moment's hesitation can very easily result in a loss.

Part 3[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 15-3.png
  • Controls: Neutral dpad Move
  • Goal: Dodge Gokudera's and Bianchi's attacks!

Gokudera and Bianchi arrive to seemingly assist the Vongola boss, until Tsuna realizes they've both been possessed by Mukuro and are no longer on his side. The siblings will lob dynamite and poison at Tsuna from the top screen, so watch their movements (as chaotic as they are) and move Tsuna at the right time. While the cakes aren't fatal, they will slip Tsuna up and slow down his movements, and one blast of dynamite colliding with the boss will result in a loss. Try to constantly move so that you always have the opportunity to get away from a stick of dynamite that's ready to explode. Survive the countdown without ending up in the proximity of a blast to clear the mini-game.

Part 4[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 15-4.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Swipe
  • Goal: Defeat Gokudera and Bianchi!

When Gokudera and Bianchi refuse to back down from the fight, both Reborn and Tsuna know what's necessary. Fortunately for Tsuna, Reborn has a better alternative to a bullet on hand: a pill. As Tsuna thinks of the people who care for him and are expecting him to return, he finally gains a will of his own to fight back and transforms into Hyper Dying Will Tsuna. The mini-game that follows is simple: wait for the targets on Gokudera and Bianchi to line up, then swipe the stylus on the touch screen in one movement to knock both siblings out simultaneously. Perform the strike before the countdown to clear the mini-game and move on to the mastermind.

Part 5[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 15-5.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Fight back against Mukuro!

Just as in the fight against Hibari, Mukuro will come at Tsuna from either direction of the screen. Touch him with the stylus on the touch screen when he nears to attack him before he can land an attack on Tsuna to lower his health. Mukuro's attacks will include some fake-outs, such as a slide across to the other side of the screen and a teleportation to the opposite side of Tsuna. Be quick to stay one step ahead of Mukuro, and deplete his health before he depletes Tsuna's to clear the mini-game and face the final battle.

Part 6[edit]

KHR Shinuki Max episode 15-6.png
  • Controls: Stylus button Touch
  • Goal: Defeat Mukuro!

At last, Tsuna has Mukuro frustrated and tired. Looking to end it quick, Mukuro decides its time to unleash his full power, and attacks Tsuna with all he's got. The final mini-game is similar to Tsuna's boxing match against Ryohei, only much more challenging. A red target will appear whenever Mukuro is about to attack; touch it with the stylus on the touch screen and the target will change its color to green, indicating a stopped attack, but not before touching Mukuro's face with the stylus to land a hit on him. Only attack before neutralizing the target when one target is present; Mukuro's stronger attacks will present Tsuna with four targets, leaving him no time to attack without getting hit. Focus on defending during Mukuro's stronger attacks, and attack quickly before blocking his weaker attackers. Deplete his health before he depletes Tsuna's to clear the mini-game and defeat Mukuro once and for all, concluding the game's main story.
