Level 26: Nightmare on Lem Street[edit]

This level can be completed with 100% lemmings saved

There are two lemmings on this level, and they both need to survive. The second one will fall while the first is building though. So delay the second lemming by assigning it a builder skill every time you assign one to the first lemming, since you have enough builders to spare.

Alternate strategy 1

The first lemming should strictly build the bridges across the top, but you won't be able to stop the second lemming from falling down. Make this second lemming an athlete, and have him bash through the column, and have him build upwards on the right hand side.

Alternate strategy 2

As they emerge, make them both floaters and let them drop off the edge. When they reach the bottom and head right, make both of them bashers so they get through the block pillar. Timing is important here; wait for the second one to catch up and reach the working rock face before making him bash. If you miss and he starts to head left, have him start building beneath the raised platform so he will hit his head and turn back around, by which time the first one should be through.

Once they're through the pillar, set them both building a zigzag of stairs between the two right-hand pillars. Once it becomes impossible for them to return to the left, you're safe. Keep building until you're high enough to bash through to the exit platform.

Level 27: Let's be careful out there[edit]

You have 50 lemmings, and need to save half of them. Initially, they are headed off a ledge that is too high even if you mine. As such, you will need to use the longer route.

The first lemming should block any traffic that tries to jump down. The second lemming will build a bridge across the gap, and become a blocker to prevent those from falling off the left. Next, build a bridge to the path above, and once the lemming reaches the other side, place a blocker in front of the acid pit. Finally, build a bridge over the gap.

Level 28: If only they could fly[edit]

This level can be completed with 100% lemmings saved

You have 80 lemmings and need to save 60%. Give the climber skill to the first lemming, and as he climbs over, give him the floater. This first lemming should become a blocker on the right, to prevent entering the lava pit.

You now need to build a path to the exit. Recruit additional lemmings by first making them climbers, and letting them float to the ground.

Once the path is ready, let the lemmings dig through the ground near the entrance.

Actually, there's a better solution, which is probably easier than the above and also allows you to save 100%:
  • Don't give your first lemming the climber skill until he's heading to the left.
  • Have him start a ramp when he's under the middle of the fire platform, and continue this ramp all the way to the exit.
  • If he hits the exit platform and turns right (which he usually, but not always, does), when he's under the fire platform again have him build a short ramp so he bumps his head and heads to the exit again.
  • While the ramp is being built, wait until all the other lemmings are out (increase the release rate to 99 if you want), then have them dig through the platforms until they're all on the bottom one.
  • Once the ramp is finished (or is within a few seconds of completion), have one of the trapped lemmings bash through the left side.

Level 29: worra lorra lemmings[edit]

You have 80 lemmings, and need to save 60%. You need a blocker to prevent your lemmings from falling in the water, and you should bash through the obstacles to your left. You do not need to worry about creating a second blocker. When you reach the staircase towards the pyramid, you need to build your own bridge towards. Break through the pyramid, and build a set of bridges to reach the top.

Level 30: Lock up your Lemmings[edit]

This level can be completed with 100% lemmings saved

You have 70 lemmings, and need to rescue 66%.

The lemmings drop into a small gap, and quickly turn left or right as they bump into the wall. Use a basher to open the wall, but if it is in the wrong direction, quickly place a blocker. Repeat for the other two locks as well.

If you bash in the wrong direction on the second floor, you can dig slightly away from the wall to allow a quick path to the exit. However, you will still need to use a blocker.
