The boss of Tsumiki no Kuni is Tanbura, a giant six-sectioned totem pole, who splits up and flies around the platform while firing marbles from his sections at Alice before reforming; his point value is also 20000.

Once Alice has dropped onto the platform, and the world's theme starts to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151, start walking forwards by pushing the joystick into the "north-east" position, and wait for the Daruma at the end of the platform to fire all four of its body sections at you before blowing a bubble at its head to kill it; you will then have to jump onto a small chequered platform moving left and right and jump onto one of two platforms with orange walls moving up and down on them (which will again stun and bounce you back if you touch them). You must time your jumps over these six walls carefully, for the parts of the platforms after the second, fourth and sixth ones are moving left and right - and there is also a Box before the sixth wall on both platforms. The one on that left platform will leave a Balloon behind, but the one on that right platform will only leave a Red Crystal behind; once you have walked onto another stationary platform two Bacura will come tumbling towards you. Once you have blown a bubble at both of them to kill them, you will have to walk onto a square platform moving left and right, in order to be carried over to another stationary platform before jumping onto one of two more square platforms moving left and right - and if you jump onto the right side of the next platform, you will come to a second Box. Once you've blown a bubble at it to break it open, it will leave a Blue Crystal behind; once you've collected it, you will come to three Bombs bouncing in place, in the centre of the platform (which will, once again, explode if you blow a bubble at them for 100 points apiece or merely get too close to them). Once you've blown a bubble at each of them, you will come to nine more Daruma, who are firing their four body sections at you - and once you've blown a bubble at each of their heads to kill them, you will come to three Ball Halls built into the platform, which will occasionally open up and fire a round of marbles at Alice (who will, again, not fall down them if she is standing on one of them) before closing again. Once you have blown a bubble at each of them to destroy them, you will come to two more Boxes on either side of the platform; once you've blown a bubble at both of them to break them open they will leave two more Red Crystals behind. Once you have collected these, you will have to walk onto one of two small rectangular platforms moving left and right, in order to jump onto a stationary platform shaped like a tuning fork with a stick of five blue-and-white marbles spinning in an anticlockwise direction in its centre (similar to the Fire Bars in Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. series) - and you'll have to jump up to avoid being hit by it every time it makes a complete revolution of the platform. There is also a fifth Box on the right side of the platform, and once you have blown a bubble at it to break it open, it will leave a fourth Red Crystal behind; once you have collected it, you'll have to jump onto one of three very small rectangular platforms moving left and right in order to jump onto another stationary platform shaped like a square, with a stick of five red-and-green marbles spinning in an anticlockwise direction in its centre (which you will again have to jump up to avoid getting hit by every time it makes a complete revolution of the platform). There are also two more Boxes at the top of this platform, and once you've blown a bubble at both of them to break them open, they will leave two more Red Crystals behind - and once you have collected them, you will have to jump onto a very small cubic platform moving left and right, in order to jump onto a third stationary platform shaped like the Katakana Ki (キ) lying on its side with two more sticks of five blue-and-white marbles spinning in an anticlockwise direction in both of its intersections (which you will once again have to jump up to avoid being hit by, every time they make a complete revolution of the platform). Once you've made it over to the left side of this platform, you'll have to jump onto a fourth very small rectangular platform moving left and right, in order to jump onto a fourth stationary platform shaped like a cross, with a fourth chain of blue-and-white marbles spinning in an anticlockwise direction in its centre (which you will yet again have to jump up to avoid getting hit by, every time it makes a complete revolution of the platform); there are also two more Boxes on the left and right sides of this platform, and once you've blown a bubble at both of them to break them open, they'll leave two final Red Crystals behind. Once you have collected them, you will have to jump onto another very small cubic platform moving left and right in order to jump onto a fifth stationary platform shaped like the letter "T" before jumping onto another small chequered platform moving back and forth in order to be carried over to the third boss platform - and once you have jumped onto the third boss platform, the "boss" theme will start to be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 once again as you are drawn into a battle with Tanbura - a giant six-sectioned totem pole who attacks by splitting up and flying round the platform while firing marbles at Alice from his sections before reforming. Each time you blow enough bubbles at his bottom section to make it explode while he is fully formed, he will repeat his attack pattern until only his head remains; he will then roll randomly around the platform in a manner which is like that of Dead Rooster while firing more marbles at Alice. Once you have blown enough bubbles at him to defeat him, the "stage clear" theme will be heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a third time as he explodes and leaves a portal to the next world which Alice will promptly jump into - and you will then receive 10 bonus points for every tenth of a second you have remaining.
