MacPlay was originally a subsidiary of Interplay Entertainment used for publishing games for the Mac OS platform. In 1997, Interplay abandoned the platform and stopped using the name. In 2000, United Developers LLC licensed the name from Interplay to publish games for the system, including Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Fallout, and Fallout 2.
