Starkweather asks you to follow the white rabbit. A simple task, if it weren't for the rabbit leading you through various traps.

Shower block[edit]

After you head forward, a scene will show a switch being pulled in the first room, followed by the door ahead closing. The prison cells from the side will release a total of four smilies, two from each end of the room. You will also need to backtrack to the shower block, and eliminate the similies hiding there. When all enemies are defeated, flip the switch to reopen the gate, and proceed down the corridor.

Second ambush[edit]

When you see the rabbit run away again, there is a second ambush. First take cover, and throw a lure to attract the nearby smilies. If it lands in the right place, it will attract all those that were hiding in the two adjacent rooms. They will fall easily to the standard tactic of popping out of cover and firing the shotgun.

In case the enemies remain in their area, the best approach is to enter the room to the right. Any remaining enemies are in the open, and you have access to a few nearby painkillers in case the fight turns bad.

Proceed through the prison, watching for any isolated members.

Watch room[edit]

First, kill the enemy with the pink dress, and head to the control room above. The white rabbit slipped past, but there will be a large number of enemies approaching from below. The enemies are weak, although if you kill them quickly enough, you may have to re-enter the prison block before the control room.

When the last one falls, the exit below the room will be unlocked, and you will reach a save point.

The corridor leading to the workshop has a few enemies in the way, but nothing too special.

When you reach the workshop, you can take cover behind some of the benches. Because enemies attack at longer ranges, you should use the pistol. When all enemies are downed, pick up one of the corpses and place the corpse onto the pressure plate in the corner of the room. This opens the door allowing you to catch up to the white rabbit.

Escape[edit]

The rabbit heads to the watch tower in the prison, but you will encounter the cerberus goons first. Take cover against the boxes to the left and engage. There's only three in the first wave, and clearing them allows you to enter the tower without being attacked. The rabbit is found at the top of the stairs, and had picked up a shotgun. Kill the rabbit and pick up his key.

There is a sniper rifle on the watch tower. This weapon allows you to engage the second wave of Cerberus forces - about ten enemies approach.

When safe, you can exit the prison with the prison gate key.
