If you are new or new world you should consider skipping armor once or twice a lv. Thief items come at a pricey rate and you should save for future armor. Dexless thieves, Hybrid sins, and str bandits cost more for scrolls, weapon, etc. Becoming one of these as your first account or in a new world could be challenging to keep up with buying armor and weapons. And for people who likes challenges be my guest to try like I'm doing. ~ A soon to be Hybrid str sin.

MY advice for this is to just get the weapons from the shop and kill what the guide told you. Upgrade your claws(like titan to mithril titan, gold if rich). Then make Meba and get +7. If your a bandit-thief then stay with the most up-to-date weapons(try to get above average if cheap).
Another thing I would advise you to do is to upgrade the glove that you get from Nella's Quest (lvl 15) with an opal and some mesos. The upgraded gloves give you a LUK bonus and a +2 DEF bonus.
If you are a dexless sin, you should get a +7 Garnier and use it until lvl 35, and get a maple claw, then Maple Kandayo at lvl 43, and Shinobi bracer at 55. At lvl 64 try and get a good Maple Skanda if your bracer is not scrolled. Also, try to get a high DEX sauna robe, but if you want godly damage, get a 50 LUK sauna.

If you're an assassin, no matter rich or poor, remember this: quantity>quality. If you are beginner rogue (less than 500K in mesos), it is most advisable to buy sets of mokbis. If you have 10 mil, don't spend it on Steeles, instead get a few sets of Tobis. Believe me, you'd rather train for longer with a lot sets of normal stars than having to go back and recharge every 10 minutes (recharge at any potion or weapon shop).
All stars other than: Subis, Paper Plane, and Oranges, must be either found from drops or bought from other players

Subi-500 meso, I don't know why you'd even use these.
Wolbis-You can buy them at around 20K Snowball-Around 50K-100K I'd say. Mokbi-Around 50K, I guess. Wooden Top- 50 to 100K Orange/Paper Plane-100K in stores. I've seen them sold for 1mill+ by real players Kumbi-Used to be 100K, now ranges up to 500K Icicles- 200K-500K Maple Star- 1 mill (cheap) to 3 mill. Tobi- 1 mill (really cheap) to 2 mill (usual price) Steely-around 8-9 mill Ilbis- no more than 20 mill. Hunting for them is REALLY boring..... Hwabi- I've seen these for like 50-100 mill. really rare... Go w/ Ilbi, cheaper. Crystal Ilbis- 100-120 mill.
