Mario is good for just about any track. His speed and weight balance perfectly. He does good on any track.

Ranking: Middleweight

Speed: 3/5 (Overall speed 3, Acceleration 3)

Weight: 3/5

Just like his brother, Luigi has an overall average performance. He also does good on any track.

Ranking: Lightweight

Speed: 5/5 (Overall speed 2, Acceleration 5)

Weight: 1/5

Peach is fast but not too fast. She is good for longer tracks. The only problem is she can be bumped over to the side because of her small weight. She is the best on a short, wide track.

Ranking: Lightweight

Speed: 5/5 (Overall speed 1, Acceleration 5)

Weight: 1/5

Toad has a fast acceleration and a steady speed. His does well on the track as long as he isn't knocked around. A wide track of any length works best with him.

Ranking: Lightweight

Speed: 4/5 (Overall speed 2, Acceleration 4)

Weight: 2/5

Yoshi is heavier than Peach and Toad and doesn't get bumped around as hard. His speed is slow to get up to but faster for an above-average performance. He is best on an average track.

Ranking: Heayvweight

Speed: 2/5 (Overall speed 4, Acceleration 2)

Weight: 4/5

Donkey Kong is good for racing on long, narrow tracks. He can bump around everyone but has a very low acceleration. He is sure to be faster than the others at full speed, though.

Weight: 4/5

This cheater is one of the toughest racers around. Wario can knock around just about anyone, and he has the second-highest speed. Wario is good for average tracks.

Weight: 5/5

The tough guy of the group, Bowser is the fastest of the pack but the slowest to reach his top speed. He is best on a long, wide track.
