Locomotionless is a quest that takes place at the Train Station in Mario Party Advance.

Shy Guy: "...Oh, huh-hello. My name is Shy Guy. I'm the stationmaster here. There's a favor I'd like to ask of you...
- What is it?
- (Goes to Quest Screen) "Oh, thank you! Really and truly! The train hasn't run since yesterday. You see, we've run out of coal for the train. Would you mind picking up some coal for me?
- No prob.
- "Oh, thank you! I appreciate it. I can't run the station without a train! You can probably find coal for sale in town. Please, do try to find some coal for me. I don't believe it's sold in the item shop. Please help. I will reward you! (Returns you to board with quest)
- I'd be delighted!
- You're so courteous! A rarity these days! People these days can be so rude! I swear! I can't run the station without a train! You can probably find coal for sale in town. - "Oh, my apologies. Sorry to bother you. Really." (Returns you to board, unsuccessful)
If You Return Without the Coal[edit]
Shy Guy: "...Oh, I beg your pardon, but... I think you might have forgotten the coal. You can find some in the vending machines. Thank you again. I do appreciate it.
At the Vending Machines[edit]
"Vending Machines! That's weird... They sell only coal! Would you like to buy some?"
- Yep!
- "...You bought coal!" (Returns you to board, successful)
- Coal? I wanted cola!
- Leave. (Returns you to board, unsuccessful)
- Think it over. (Returns you to first decision)
Returning with coal[edit]
Shy Guy: "...Oh! Have you brought me some coal? Well, thank you. You're a big help. Honestly. Now, I can start the train running again. I want to reward you with a Gaddget." You got the Cake Maker! "Thank you. I won't forget your kindness! Thank you. I'm in your debt."
Strategy[edit]
Answer his question with anything but "I'm busy." The fastest route to him is to the left, taking the lower fork, then going back up once you're past the loop. At the vending machines, ask for coal, then follow the same route back to the Train Station to complete the quest.
