I wouldn't call Iron Man a late bloomer, but I would label call him a delayed bloomer. At first glance it may seem that Iron Man isn't worth the effort but give him time (if your choosing Pro-reg). Once you get his last two powers and all his Abilities then you've got yourselves a solid addition. But Iron Man isn't going to be your tank, his strength comes in his range. Stand back and hit groups of enemies with Pulse Barrage occasionally popping in with a rocket punch, then get back out. If surrounded radial Pulse works wonders. Once you have invested some points in it, it actually fills your stamina instead of depleting it while delivering good damage and knock back to enemies 360 degrees around. And if your stamina is already full it takes none away. All of his abilities are useful so invest in all of them, they make him much more well rounded. He has GREAT fusions. And has a good 1-2 punch for bosses, if they are resistant to energy Rocket punch them. If they are resistant to impact, Unibeam them. Not the best but definitely a solid character.
