Marvel vs. Capcom/Characters/Guile

Unlike other Street Fighters who were more or less pulled in to the Marvel Universe despite their will to remain in the Capcom Universe, Guile was the only person who willed his way into the Marvel Universe during the final encounter with Abyss. Guile had known that his commander and best friend Charlie has been pulled into the Marvel Universe, and rumor had it that all had not gone well over there. Reports were filtering down that Charlie may have been captured and experimented on by the sinister M. Bison. Guile was determined to break into the Marvel Universe and find out once and for all what happened to Charlie, and rescue him if he needed assistance. He arrived just in time to find Charlie recovering from the affects that had turned him into the mind-controlled Shadow.

Guile remains laregly the same as he was in Street Fighter Alpha 3, but he does pick up a few new techniques as a result of finding himself in the augmented universe. For one, he gains the ability to perform the Somersault Kick, not only on the ground, but also in mid-air, and without the need to charge it up at all. Furthermore, he gains an additional Hyper Combo. Crossfire Assault is an automatic combo if he connects with his opponent. His Sonic Hurricane super is much improved and can be a rather devastating attack to use against opponents. He is loaded with a number of command attacks, all of which are cancelable, which makes him a very versatile character to use.
