The following are statistical and general information on each gun as well as a preferred range. They are in an A-Z fashion.

Some general tips:

  • Aim for the head and the heart for maximum power and fatality likelihood.
  • For maximum entertainment, try hitting a person - with a weak gun like the Colt .45 - in any of the following; groin, hand, foot, or knee. This will provoke a most humorous reaction.
  • Use your sniper rifle to maximum effect by taking out people ahead of you in all levels. This clears the path, making it easier to progress.
  • Give yourself space when using any explosives. If you're too close, you will also lose health.
  • Try to take people by surprise, for example by approaching from behind.
  • It is highly advisable to always make sure you have reloaded your weapon when entering another conflict zone (especially in Arnhem Knights) even if you have 31/32 bullets, for example. If you have to reload while under fire, you will lose precious time, and will quite likely be injured.
  • If you are shooting an enemy who has yet to spot you, for your own sake take your time! Aim at the fatality points, because if you miss, he will react and retaliate before you have reloaded - and at least knock a bit off your health.

  • Preferred Range: 0-4 metres
  • Side: Allied

File:MoHF Gewehr 43.jpg
The Gewehr 43
  • Type: Rifle
  • Accuracy: 1
  • Rate of Fire: 50 per/min
  • Damage: 16
  • Magazine Capacity: 10
  • Preferred Range: Distant, a good sniping spot is essential.
  • Side: Axis
  • Information: A German response to the US M1 Garand and Soviet SVT 40. This accurate rifle was only used by experts and features a detachable 10-round box magazine, but it wasn't mass produced nor was it as reliable as the M-1 and SVT rifles, it was also very complex like the SVT-40, and was easily jamed due to dirt getting in it's exposed extractor spring. It's used extensively in the latter parts of the game where sniping is more frequent, due to its semi-automatic fire capability. This weapon is somewhat useful in medium ranges with little to no zoom on the scope.

Mark II Fragmentation Grenade[edit]

The Mark II Frag Grenade
  • Type: Grenade
  • Preferred Range: Medium, 20-40 metres.
  • Side: Allied
  • Information: A miniature explosive device that will explode after a four second fuse. The Mk II grenade was designed to unleash a spray of shrapnel (pieces of jagged metal) once the grenade went off. Good for clearing rooms.

M-1 Garand[edit]

The M-1 Garand service rifle
  • Type: Rifle
  • Accuracy: 2
  • Rate of Fire: 80 per/min
  • Damage: 12
  • Magazine capacity: 8 round clip
  • Preferred Range: medium to long
  • Side: Allied
  • Information: The M-1 Garand is an 8-round, clip-fed, .30-06, semi-automatic, gas-operated rifle. It was standard issue for all US soldiers from 1942 until the end of the Korean War. Its primary drawback in the game, is that it cannot be reloaded in the middle of a clip, due to the game engine only allowing 1 reload animation per weapon, and mid clip reloading requires 2 animations. Any remaining rounds should be spent in order to insert a fresh clip and keep attacking.

MP-40[edit]

The MP 40.
  • Type: Sub-Machine Gun
  • Accuracy: 3
  • Rate of Fire: 500 per/min
  • Damage: 6
  • Magazine Capacity: 32 round detachable box
  • Preferred Range: Close, 0-3 metres.
  • Side: Axis
  • Information: A superb gun worthy of any solider, but it is primarily issued to German squad leaders and officers. It has a great rate of fire and is great at close range. One drawback is that when fired at a continuous rate, the weapon will kick back and lose accuracy, so fire in 2-3 round bursts to maximize your effectiveness with this weapon.

RPzB 54 Panzerschreck[edit]

File:MoHF Panzerschrek.jpg
The Panzerschrek.
  • Type: Heavy Weapon
  • Accuracy: 1
  • Rate of Fire: 20 per/min
  • Damage: 1-100
  • Magazine Capacity: 1
  • Preferred Range: Medium to far, 20-100+ metres.
  • Side: Axis
  • Information: If you have ever played Medal of Honor: Underground, you will remember the wonderful Panzerfaust. The Panzerschreck is a rocket launcher, based on the Bazooka with a greater caliber and a longer range than the Panzefaust, which was used with great effect in close quarters. The Panzerschrek is basically the "big brother" to the Panzerfaust. Unlike the Panzerfaust, the Panzerschrek can be reused after being fired.

File:MoHF Shotgun.jpg
The Winchester Trenchgun.
  • Type: Heavy Weapon
  • Accuracy: N/A
  • Rate of Fire: 48 per/min
  • Damage: 5-75
  • Magazine Capacity: 8 round 12 gauge
  • Preferred Range: Short, due to its high dispersion pattern of buck shot.
  • Side: Allied
  • Information: A great weapon, the trenchgun will injure targets even if it isn't properly aimed. It is intended to be used as a close quarter weapon to kill or injure multiple targets at medium ranges, and kill single targets at close range. The Bayonet lug protruding from the underside of the muzzle can equip a massive 16 inch bayonet, but the version in the game is not equipped with it.

Springfield M1903 rifle[edit]

The Springfield '03.
  • Type: Rifle (Sniper Rifle)
  • Accuracy: 1
  • Rate of Fire: 25 per/min
  • Damage: 16
  • Magazine Capacity: 5 round internal magazine
  • Preferred Range: Distant, sniping.
  • Side: Allied
  • Information: Due to the position of the scope, single rounds can only be loaded one at a time. Stipper clips are not able to be loaded with the scope mounted, making loading this weapon slow and painful with its short magazine. However, it's also very powerful. The M1903 Springfield rifle is used as a long range marksman and sniper's weapon intended to kill targets at long range. Don't rely on this weapon in close quarters firefights, as mentioned above, the Springfield is a slow bolt-operated weapon; you must treat it as a surgical tool.

STG 44[edit]

The STG 44.
  • Type: Rifle (the first assault rifle in the world, externally similar to the Russian AK-47)
  • Accuracy: 3
  • Rate of Fire: 500 per/min
  • Damage: 5
  • Magazine: 30 round detachable box
  • Preferred Range: Close and medium, 1-10/150-200 metres.
  • Side: Axis
  • Information: A quick and versatile weapon, very useful in clearing rooms. Superior to the MP-40 as an automatic weapon. The Sturmgewehr 1944 (StG44) is an assault rifle, and is one of the finest weapons in the game, and should be used as a medium range weapon to make quick assaults and to suppress the enemy.

Stielhandgrante '43[edit]

The Stielhandgrante.
  • Type: Grenade
  • Preferred Range: Medium 25-50 metres
  • Side: Axis
  • Information: Often referred to as the "Potato Masher" for obvious reasons, the Stielhandgranate is a light weight concusion grenade made with a wooden stick which contained the fuse, and a tin-metal cylinder that contains the high explosives. It is a handy grenade for long distance throwing.

M1A1 Thompson SMG[edit]

The Thompson SMG.
  • Type: Sub-Machine Gun
  • Accuracy: 3
  • Rate of Fire: 750 per/min
  • Damage: 6
  • Magazine: 20 round detachable box
  • Preferred Range: Close, 0-5 metres.
  • Side: Allied
  • Information: A fine weapon overall, but not the best automatic weapon. The STG 44 is far better at range, but the M1A1 Thompson submachinegun is far more compact and has a much higher fire rate. It's best used as a close quarter weapon used to sweep trenches and clean out rooms of enemy personnel. The Thompson is often the weapon of choice of American Paratroopers.

Walther P-38[edit]

The Walther P38.
  • Type: Pistol
  • Accuracy: 3
  • Rate of Fire: 70 per/min
  • Damage: 9 rounds
  • Magazine Capacity: 8 round detachable box
  • Preferred Range: Close up, behind.
  • Side: Axis
  • Information: A fast 9mm sidearm that was intended to replace the infamous P'08 Luger, but you don't get to use the P-38 much in the game especially in earlier levels.

Webley and Scott .22 Silenced Pistol[edit]

The Webley and Scott Silenced Pistol.
  • Type: Pistol

  • Magazine Capacity: 7 round detachable box
  • Preferred Range: Nearby, 1-4 metres, out of sight.
  • Side: Allied
  • Information: The OSS .22 silenced pistol is used for silent precise kills. It's very handy for any level, great for surprise, but a bit weak, so aim for head/heart.
