Link with Mega Man Battle Network 4[edit]

Mega Man Zero 3 can be linked with Mega Man Battle Network 4 (either Blue Moon or Red Sun). If you move any one MMBN chip to Mega Man Zero 3, the enemies in cyber-space will change permanently: most of MMZ enemies will be replaced by MMBN enemies.

Mini-Games, Hard Mode and Ultimate Mode[edit]

There are 9 unlockables in the game: 2 modes and 7 mini-games. It is possible to unlock them all playing through the game just 7 times.

The Ultimate Mode (easy mode) was already available in Mega Man Zero 1 and 2, but it was just a reward, instead of a new challenge. In Mega Man Zero 3, on the contrary, the introduction of unlockable mini-games is a challenge to be met specifically with the Ultimate Mode. Modification Cards might be allowed in Mega Man Zero Collection.

  2. "Saber only" means that you must destroy any enemy using the basic Z-Saber only; it is forbidden to destroy any enemy using a different weapon, or an elemental chip, or an EX-Skill, or even any Cyber-Elf ability (e.g. no rolling slashes).
