PSX PC Control
Neutral lstick or Neutral dpad
  • Move Snake.
  • Aim weapons.
  • Look around in First-Person View.
Cross button
  • Crouch/Stand up.
  • Hold to run while your weapon is drawn.
  • Cancel menu selections.
Circle button
  • Executes a punch combo attack.
  • Knock on walls when pressed up against one.
  • Activate buttons.
  • Climb ladders.
  • Confirm menu selections.
Square button
  • Hold to draw your current weapon. Release to fire it.
  • When unarmed, grab and strangle enemies.
Triangle button Enters First-Person View.
L2 button Open the Item Menu.
R2 button Open the Weapon Menu.
L1 button
  • Unequip your current item, or equip the last one you had if you don't have an item equipped.
  • Sidestep to the left in First-Person View.
R1 button
  • Unequip your current weapon, or equip the last one you had if you don't have a weapon equipped.
  • Sidestep to the right in First-Person View.
  • Double-tap to reload.
Select button Use the Codec.
Start button Pause the game.
