Racing is split up into different series. The first three series, Traffic Troubles, Motorway Mania and Freeway Phobia, must be beaten with a Gold or Platinum trophy in all difficulties to unlock the Victory Vehicles series. The Frantic Finale series is unlocked when all four stolen parts are collected. A bonus track, New Orleans, Louisiana, can be unlocked by completing events on the practice track.
To complete a race, you need to rank at least 4th place. You are then awarded points based on the rank (9 for first, 5 for second, 3 for third, and 1 for fourth), which will determine your final place at the end of the circuit. You need to rank 3rd or higher to obtain any trophy.
