The second level is a comparatively short level, consisting of a single side scrolling section over the ocean. All you must do is making it from the starting point on the left to the end point on the right where you face off with the boss before proceeding to the Woods.

- A: If you happened to die on this level and are forced to start over, you can sometimes shoot at this cloud and find an invincible fairy. If you do, you can collect it and fearlessly charge your way through a majority of the stage. If you arrived at this stage from the Fun House, and have not yet died, it will not be there.
- B: There is always a health refill hidden in this point to the left of the high island top. Shoot it and collect it, then proceed very cautiously to the end so that you have all your health for the boss fight. There are four waves between you and the end so watch out for them and the Jellyfish they kick up.
Boss[edit]
The boss of the ocean doesn't behave very differently from the boss of the Fun House, except that it moves around a lot more and it will jump up and down occasionally. Your best bet is to arrive with as much health as possible, walk up to the point just in front of where it stops approaching you, and pummel it with projectiles until it is defeated.
