Powerful equipment[edit]

Medi's Legendary Weapon[edit]

Miracle Warriors walkthrough pic10.gif

With Medi now in your party, you can visit the Kingdom of Eratos to obtain her Legendary Weapon. Assuming you have the obligatory 300 fangs in your inventory, head west from Dorin, back to Torif, and continue beyond until you walk around a mountain range that extends south. Just beyond the mountains you will find a castle at the edge of a forest. Enter the castle and speak with the king to trade 300 fangs for the privilege of wielding the Eros Sword. When Medi uses this weapon, she is capable of periodically performing a "Crushing Attack," which does more damage than usual.

Medi's Legendary Armor[edit]

Moments after obtaining the Eros Sword, you are ready to gather Medi's special armor. It will consist of a fight with another Senpi, so you will want to purchase four more Earthquake Staffs. Going to the forest south of the Town of Oruk to obtain 11 more Sacred Nuts isn't a bad idea either. When you are prepared, head east from the town of Torif, above the desert and past a monument, and follow the north path between the forests until you spot a cave by Phrixos on the map. Save the game before you enter. Medi will demonstrate her ability to pick the locks of caves, and you will be thrust into a fight with another Senpi. Use the same strategy of depleting your supply of magical items before resorting to attacking with your sword. Upon defeating the Senpi, you will be rewarded with the Athena Armor for Medi to wear.

Optional: Stones of Protection[edit]

Before you continue on to yet another Senpi fight, you may wish to obtain an item that can make Senpi fights slightly easier to survive. From the cave in Phrixos, continue west along the narrow strip of land, and then north to find a village in Iphis. Enter the village and you can exchange 50 fangs for a Stone of Protection. Using these stones has the ability to block an enemy's spell use for the remainder of the fight. It may fail, you but can use the stones until it succeeds (or you run out). You can hold a maximum of six, so purchase all that you can carry.

Guy's Legendary Armor[edit]

Now that Medi can pick the locks of caves, you should return to the village in Kadmos where you obtained your ship. In the mountains to the east is a cave just beyond the forest. Save the game, and enter the cave. Medi will open the lock and you will face another Senpi. Use the exact same strategy as before, only this time, if you purchased Stones of Protection, use them before you begin attacking with your weapons until one succeeds in blocking the Senpi's magic. Then proceed to attack with your healthiest fighter at all times until the Senpi is defeated. You will obtain the Titan Armor for Guy.

Upgrade Medi's weapon[edit]

The final step for you at this point is to return to the village west of the Town of Minos, and pay the 60,000 guilders to have the weapon smith upgrade Medi's weapon. If you don't have the money saved up, use this time to grind and build Medi's level up to the rest of the party's.

Rescuing Treo[edit]

Dungeon exploring[edit]

Dungeon of Silvius

With your equipment boosted, it's time to explore a monument that you may have passed several times. North east of Torif is a monument on the north edge of a desert. This monument is an entrance to the Silvius dungeon. You begin in the upper left corner of the dungeon. In this dungeon, you will encounter some monsters that you are familiar with, and a few you have not seen before. The Barbeela is a particularly tough new monsters, but it should not pose a particularly big threat if you've been working to keep your characters leveled up.

You have two goals here, both of which are to collect items which will aid you in your quest. One item is easier to find than the other, since it can be found in a treasure chest in the lower right corner of the dungeon. From the stairs, you can make your way to the chest by following the top-most wall and then down along the right-most wall. Inside the chest, you will find the Mantle, which serves to chase away weak enemies like Unmutaks and Gelfis so that you aren't drawn into as many time-consuming battles with enemies that no longer benefit you. You will still, however, encounter Evil Merchants and their 2000 guilder reward.

The second item is a bit less obvious, but far more important. In a passage that cuts through the lower left corner of the dungeon, you will find a message written in the ancient language which you can read only if you collected the Helmet from the Julus dungeon. Provided you have it, you will read the note which indicates that someone has left a Crystal for you to find. Upon reading the note, you will immediately locate the Crystal. The Crystal is an upgrade over the Mask. It allows you to see as much of the dungeons as you can see in the outdoors.

The first Legendary Shield[edit]

Miracle Warriors monster Hanj.png

The time has come to collect the first Legendary Shield. Not only will it serve as an upgrade to the main character's shield, it is also the item need to make the awaken spell effective on the final companion Treo. You should expect this fight to be even more difficult than the fight against the Senpi. As such, you should prepare yourself by stocking up on Sacred Nuts, Earthquake Staffs, Stones of Protection, and herbs for after the fight. Your destination is a cave in the middle of the mountains on the island of Ikaros, which is found in the south-east corner of the world. Access this cave, and you will come face to face with a Hanj, the most powerful monster you have faced yet.

The strategy against the Hanj will be identical to the strategy against the Senpi; Use the stones until you successfully block its magic, then use up your staffs, then the nuts, and then attack with weapons until it is defeated. When the battle is over, you will obtain the Ulysses Shield. You will likely sustain a lot of damage, so use Herbs to heal the survivors, and return to the Village of Resurrection in case any party member perished in the fight. Return to the Town of Doris to heal up and prepare for the next part of your journey.

The lake cave[edit]

Miracle Warriors walkthrough pic11.gif

Your next destination is the cave which lies in the center of a lake, surrounded by mountains. You'll find this lake north east of the Village of Iphis where you can obtain the Stones of Protection. When you enter this cave, you will encounter a zombie figure. You will have the option to cast a spell on it. If you have the Ulysses Shield in your possession when you cast "AWAKE, GIANT" then the shield will break the curse placed on Treo by the Black Monks and restore him to his former self. He will then join your party. As a result of rescuing him, he will give you the final piece of the scroll, which you can now read at any time by selecting "SCROLL" from the menu. The contents of the scroll relate the instructions that Iason followed in order to defeat Terarin the first time. For now, your immediate concern should be obtaining Treo's equipment from the monument north of the lake cave.

Treo's equipment[edit]

Upon rescuing him, Treo not only informs you that his equipment is held in the North Cavern, he also gives you the words to the spell that will open the cavern and allow you to explore it. From the lake cave, follow the mountain range as far north as it will go, and after a short distance, you will see a monument which could be seen from across the water early in the game. When you approach the monument, you will be given the chance to cast a spell. This time, cast your new spell, "TREO HAS COME" to gain access to the dungeon below.

There are four treasure chests in this dungeon, three of which are of vital importance to Treo. While the fourth merely contains Sacred Nuts (located in the upper left corner of the map), the other three each contain one piece of his legendary equipment. The Halberd of Babel, Kaos Armor, and Kimara Shield can all be collected and equipped by Treo once your find the proper chests in this dungeon. With these items, the only improvement you can make to Treo will be to upgrade his weapon.

Monsters in this dungeon are quite strong. Though they aren't nearly as strong as the Hanj you recently defeated, they have significant amounts of health and can do a substantial amount of damage to your party, so you will want to make sure you are stocked up on Herbs for healing after the fight.
