Bat

The Scorpion is the most common enemy that you will encounter. They have two hit points, and they will hop after the first time they get hit. You are safe to stand one top of them. Snakes are the next most common enemy in the game. They also have two hit points, and they move quite fast. However, you can remove them fairly easily if you jump on top of them. Bats are a difficult enemy to fight. They only have one hit point, but they travel across the screen at a high speed, slowly sinking or rising as they fly along.

Bee

Hedgehogs are a very hardy enemy. They have three hit points, and you can't stand on them. However, they're not fast, and they don't hop, so you can remove them by firing shots in quick succession. Dragonflies like to fly around in lazy circles off the ground. They don't necessarily attack you, as much as they simply get in your way. Shoot them out of the sky or scoot underneath them. Bees are a bit like Dragonflies, except that they hone in on Hao. They are easily taken out with one shot, but it's far better to hit them before they hit you.
Mole

Moles appear in fixed locations, and cannot move. They pop their heads out of the ground in order to attack. Since they can't chase you, they're not much of a threat, but they do have four hit points, so they're not easy to remove either.
