The main menu screen (shown on the right) has several options to choose from. Make your choices from the options and then press to begin.

[edit] Play Mode

• Regular Season: Play a one-off match betweens any 2 teams
• New Playoffs: Start a new playoff series
• Cont. Playoffs: Continue a playoff series that you've started (using a password)
• Best of 7: Play a best of 7 series between 2 chosen teams

[edit] Players

• Demo: Watch a match without actually taking part
• One - Home: A one-player game where you play as the home team
• One - Visitor: A one-player game where you play as the visiting team
• Teammates: A two-player game where both players work together on the same team
• Head to Head: A two-player game where each player controls a separate team

[edit] Team 1 / Team 2

Select the teams for the match. Team 1 is the visiting team, Team 2 is the home team. Sometimes these must be selected together, such as in New Playoff mode.

[edit] Per. Length

Select the period length (there are 3 periods in a game). You can choose between 5, 10 and 20 minute periods

[edit] Penalties

Choose the penalty settings.

• On: All penalties are used
• On, no offsides: All penalties except offsides are used
• Only fighting: Penalties are only given for fighting

[edit] Line Changes

Choose to have line changes on or off. Having line changes off means no team can change players during a game.
