The N-Gage was a portable console released by Nokia designed to be a combined mobile phone and gaming system. It was launched in October of 2003 and is still being produced and shipped.
It was not very well received by gamers and is often considered to be a joke. Its sales and popularity are dwarfed by more game-oriented portable systems such as the PSP and Nintendo DS.
