Appearance: White guy with tied-back blue hair. blue pants and black smiley face.
Attack: Slash, Really fast mid-range attack, comes out instantly.
Magic: Uppercut, short range, but is the perfect start to a combo.
Special: Slashes in a downward arc and emits a blue glow, hits multiple times and has great range.
Comments: Probably the best mêlée starter due to his Mid-range Slash and his combo ability, Uppercut works well to set up a series of Jumping Slashes or a Special attack. All of this character's attacks are instant hits.
Appearance: Girl in a red kimono, white face and black hair.
Attack: Sword slash. Has good range, but comes out a bit slow. Good if the enemy is too close for the magic attack. Can hit twice if close enough. Can hit foes below Princess Kofuki.
Magic: Throws a hippo at the enemy. Has slightly longer range than the sword slash, and can hit multiple times (up to 3 or 4). After it's been thrown it stays on the ground for a split second during which it can still harm the enemy. Cannot be blocked, but can be canceled if hit. Magic attack has a minimum range against ground foes but is great against foes directly above Princess Kofuki.
Special: Throws multiple animals. Kind of like the Magic attack but hits more often, and has slightly better range.
Stats: Since the Magic Hippo is her best attack, Magic is this character's most important stat to raise. With high magic, you'll be killing characters way above your level with just a few hippos.
Strenghts/Weaknesses: Her range and power are her greatest assets. Play at keeping the enemy away, and spam the Hippo Magic when he tries to approach. A fast character who can get in and combo at close range is her greatest weakness. The few characters with greater range than her magic attack can mean trouble too.
Comments: Seems to be the best character out of the starters. Hippo Magic is great to spam at range, and the Sword slash can be used pretty effectively as well. Just make sure the enemies don't get too close and you're fine. 2 combos are common with Princess Kofuki, but longer combos are exceedingly rare.
Appearance: Girl in a lilac shirt with long black hair.
Attack: A powerful jab. Has a decent range.
Magic: Invisible and takes a while to perform. Difficult to gauge range. Not very good since it misses frequently.
Special: Multiple aggressive hits. This gets a lot of long combos, especially if used at close range.
Comments: A good character if you can't use Princess Kofuki or another character with longer range. Blocking is very visible and easy to tell when to use it.
Attack: Swings the parasol starting over head and down to the ground in front. This attack has a slight delay before attacking and it has a short but non-melee striking range.
Magic: Twirls the parasol above her head. This attack damages enemies multiple times if they are close by or above, it can hit enemies on the ground of they are very close.
Special: A giant ghost appears behind her and pulls out a pistol, shooting the ground. If the enemy is anywhere within three fourths of the screen length, the enemy will be hit once. This special does not combo unless the enemy is touching her.
Appearance: A rabbit in purple clothes with a blade comparable to a chef's knife. Always walks sideways.
Attack: Slashes at the enemy with the knife. Medium-short range and rapid response.
Magic: Shoots at the enemy once with a gun. Can barely connect outside Princess Kofuki's magic range and is a bit faster.
Special: Walks forward while rapidly swinging the knife back and forth.
Comments: Although this character can out-range Princess Kofuki with magic, this is very hard to pull off and Princess Kofuki is a better choice in most other situations. The purple rabbit has trouble with aerial foes because all three attacks are linear, however the speed of attack can come in handy if a foe jumps in too close. The best strategy is to charge in, rapidly tapping attack and using the special attack at point blank range whenever one is ready. However, when facing bosses it's better to trap them with the normal attack than using a special on them since they will often counter with one of their own. Because of its fast attack speed, the purple rabbit is the most adept character at disabling special attacks and cornering efficiently. If the fight is going badly, this character's magic move is good to end it in a win. Using the attack and special moves when the enemy is against the wall usually results in a 4 combo or better. If you are looking for combos, do not raise attack stat or else the match will end too quickly for a good combo. Combo-seeking players should raise special, defense, and health. It's not uncommon for the attack stat to go up by .5 or more each match if the opponent has a lot of health and defense. This character can quadruple jump.
Appearance: A boy with a red hat, blue shirt, and red pants.
Attack: A flaming short-range kick that sends the opponent flying. Can hit twice on occasion. Perfect start to a combo, especially when opponent is against the wall.
Magic: A medium-range ghost is summoned to strike the enemy. Can hit twice.
Special: A huge pumpkin man is summoned to strike the enemy. Short-range and easily canceled. Best when used in the air.
Comments: This character can easily get a long combo with his attack move. Jumping and tapping Z, then tapping Z, X, or space is the easiest way to start a 3+ combo with this character. This character also has an unusually long window to defend in. This character can triple jump.
Appearance: A blond-colored girl with very long hair.
Attack: Whips the enemy with her hair. Medium range.
Magic: Character charges a yellow light at the end of her hair and releases a shot when it is finished charging. Long range but prohibitively long delay.
Special: Morphs into a huge blond-colored blob that covers half of the screen and engulfs the enemy.
Comments: Not a good character to use, slow with medium range and defense based. Her special, however, is good at getting combos from far away. She can double-jump.
