[edit] Walkthrough

Unlocked the first time you speak with Anne-Claire, this case requires you to find the items that Tycho's niece needs for an apparently massive scientific undertaking. There are four pieces to collect; the first three are mentioned when you first receive the case; the Golden Bolt is added to the list when you speak to Anne-Claire for a second time.

• The engine is found in the ruins of your home on Desperation St;
• The bolts of silk are granted as a reward for killing the Hat Spiders in the Cloying Odor Sanitarium (you have to replace the fuse during Case 7: Comeuppance before they'll appear);
• The Energite molecule is part of the Monkey Fighting League trophy won during Case 8: Credentials;
• The 14mm Golden Bolt is a normal 13mm bolt received from one of the scientists in the second room of the Symposium on the Future of Man, coated with gold using the machine in Riverbrook Park Estates. The gold adds a millimeter of thickness to the bolt, so a smaller bolt than Anne-Claire actually requires needs to be put into the machine.

Bring all four pieces back to Anne-Claire to close this case.
