Staying at an Inn will fully restore Star Power, Flower Points, and all character's Health Points. Occasionally, an item will be left when Mario awakens.
Should Mario stay at an Inn roughly 50 times, he will be awarded 200 coins by a Cameraman Lakitu.

Inn Coupon[edit]
An Inn Coupon is a special item that only appears seven times throughout the game. It allows Mario to sleep at an Inn for free.
The locations of Inn Coupons are as follows:
- On the path to Shhwonk Fortress.
- In a bush near the Great Tree area of Boggly Woods.
- Outside the Fresh Juice Shop in Glitzville.
- Inside Twilight Shop behind the notice board.
- Near the bridge in Keelhaul Key.
- Behind the pasta shop in Poshley Heights.
- Near the stairs in front of the inn in Fahr Outpost.
An Inn Coupon can be sold to any shop in the game for five coins.
