Quests
The entire game is based on quests. Whenever you go to the Master Obelisk, you enter the world map. From there, you choose a location, and then a quest on that location. Every location will have at least one open quest.

Advance! Attack![edit]

This is your first quest, the first time you go to battle! If you hadn't already, head over to the Controls section to view a list of the songs, in this quests, you only need 2, Attack and March.

How to Pass[edit]

You won't be able to reach all the way to the end (just yet), so simply do your best.

Walk with PATA PATA PATA PON and attack obstacles with PON PON PATA PON, reach as far away as possible within the time limit in order to win the quest.

Extra[edit]

If and when you reach all the way to the end, you will receive the PATA PON PATA PON Song of Pause.

Unlocks[edit]

Completion of this quests unlocks the following:

  • Defense Practice

Defense Practice[edit]

Perfect Timing
When all 4 beats are perfectly timed with the rhythm, you will hear a "Shwiiing" sound. A perfect timing of a certain command can kick off uberhero mode. Also, every command, if performed perfectly, is powered up (noticeably!)

This quest is meant to practice your defense (obvious isn't it?) This quests contains 3 levels, the first one is easy, the second is harder, and the third is impossible for you at the moment.

How to Pass[edit]

Defend Defend Defend! Once you pass level one, you will be given an option to continue to level 2, or to retreat. Retreat to complete the quest, or continue to level 2 and retreat after that one.

Extra[edit]

Once this quest is completed you can continue with the story on the Field of Angry Giants.

Unlocks[edit]

Completion of the quest unlocks the following:

Attack and Dodge Practice[edit]

As stated in its name, this is the mission to practice attacking and dodging. In here you will need two commands: Pon Pon Pata Pon (Attack) and Pon Pata Pon Pata (Retreat). You will fight against walls and face a gigantic cannon. Defense is useless against this gigantic cannon, so you will need to take cover when the sign gives you a warning. After you destroy a wall, a treasure chest will come out.

Warning: If you're starting the mission, remember to take cover right away!

March and Jump Practice[edit]

Practice march and jump here. Pata Pata Pata Pon to March and Don Don Chaka Chaka to Jump. Jump to catch the blue and red orbs. Catching blue orbs boost your troops' marching speed, while red orbs add twelve seconds to your time. Also there will be a treasure at each checkpoint, so be sure to jump at the checkpoints.
