You'll have to make sure Yogi says something, and if he does, you may have a chance to put an end to the corrupted prosecutor's so-called perfect streak once and for all. This is it! The REAL final battle.

Karma calls the caretaker to the stand. He would like you to take your time with your cross-examination (he's hiding something isn't he).
This man is Yanni Yogi. Phoenix knows it. Press him on his 4th and 5th statement. Karma objects of course. The Judge asks you to tell this mans name. Answer Yanni Yogi. The Judge and Karma wants proof. Phoenix tells them to file the caretaker's fingerprints to Yogi's 15 years ago. Karma, however, tells you that the caretaker burned off his prints in a chemical accident before working in court. Now you don't have proof, and Phoenix ran out of ideas once again. Karma jokes that Phoenix should cross-examine the caretaker's parrot. You've seen the parrot must know something about the case, so Phoenix takes Karma up. Karma tells you if the parrot doesn't say anything, you'll face great consequences, and then asks if you'll still do it. Answer, Yes I'm doing it. He then calls Polly to the stand. It may seem ridiculous at first, but this bird is your only chance of winning.
Press Polly on her 2nd statement. You won't go anywhere. Maya then asks what should she say. Answer "Have we forgotten something?". Polly doesn't answer. Karma laughs as of he expected this. Could he have retrained her? Press the first statement again.
Press the same statement. When you are given the choice again, say "Whats your name?". Polly answers this time. The Judge wants to know if this has anything to do with her owner's identity. Say Of course. Present the DL-6 Case File to the court. Why? Check it first. Yogi had a fiancée named Polly Jenkins who committed suicide after the incident. Karma wants to know which data has any proof. Choose "Suspect Data". Yogi might have named the parrot after her. Karma dismisses it as a coincidence. His granddaughter has a dog named "Phoenix". The Judge agrees and allows Polly to continue the testimony.
Press Polly on the second statement once more. This time choose "Whats the safe number". Polly says "1228" once again. The Judge asks if this has anything to do with the caretaker. Answer Actually, it does. Karma wants proof. Present the DL-6 Case File once again. The Judge asks if which file relates to the number. Answer Case Summary. The caretaker might have used the date number, December 28=12/28 to make the number for the safe. The Judge is amaze about two coincidences on one trail. So he calls the caretaker to the stand.
When the Judge asks for his name, the caretaker then finally breaks character and admits that he is in fact Yanni Yogi, and that he was the one who killed Hammond for one thing, revenge. He took his revenge on Hammond, but is yet to take it on Edgeworth, who was called to the stand after Yogi was arrested.
Miles Edgeworth is found "Not Guilty".
Exactly 15 years ago, Yanni Yogi was the suspect of the murder of Gregory Edgeworth, thanks to Misty Fey, but was found innocent. Before he was put on the stand, Robert Hammond tells him to act like he was innocent, because he didn't believe that Yogi was innocent. Although he won, he lost everything, even his fiancee. He then moves to a nearby boat, in a guise of a confused and forgetful old man.
15 years later, a letter arrived from an anonymous writer (Manfred von Karma) that tells Yogi that he now has a chance to get revenge. Yogi then does exactly what the letter says.
Christmas Eve night, 11:50pm, Yogi called Robert Hammond into his boat shop, where fires a gun at Hammond, killing him.
Outside at the same time, Larry Butz, who just found his Steel Samurai balloon he lost last week due to his shenanigans, was just at the dock ready to go home when he hears a loud bang, over his loud earphones.
Yogi then proceeds to throw the body out in the water, but not before putting Hammond's clothes on. Then at 12:15am, just after midnight, Yogi then calls Miles Edgeworth (who doesn't recognize Hammond) out to the lake where fires a gun, to ensure that there is a witness watching.
That witness is Lotta Hart, who was in fact at Gourd Lake to see a mythical creature named Gourdy, which is actually at Larry's Steel Samurai balloon. Her sound sensitive camera caught the moment of the shot, and the moment of the shot 25 minutes earlier, which is at the boat shop, so no one was in the lake.
Yogi then fires again, and drops the gun, and falls into the lake to make it look like he is been shot. He then proceeds to swim back on shore, put the dress back on Hammond's body, which he throws out soon afterwords. Later, the body was found, and Edgeworth was put under arrest.
The Judge then adjourns court... and then an "objection".
It wasn't Karma this time, but Edgeworth, who says he isn't entirely innocent. He criticizes Yogi's confession, saying he wasn't specific for the reason of revenge. Maya asks you to stop him. Just Leave it to Edgeworth. Surely he had give this a thought. He hasn't, Edgeworth explains about his nightmares and his guilt. von Karma wants to try Edgeworth for the DL-6 Incident, which statute of limitations runs out today. The Judge agrees and calls a five-minute recess.
You can't let Edgeworth's Nightmare get in the way. Phoenix still believes that it was only a nightmare no matter how real it is.
You're not out of the woods yet. When Edgeworth told you about the dream yesterday, there was one detail that didn't quite fit. Find out what the detail is.
Present the DL-6 Case File to Edgeworth on his 6th statement. Karma wants to know what file is it on. Choose the "Victim Data". The murder weapon was fired twice. Karma objects, asking you have proof of who, where, and when was the second shot, answer Yes. Present the DL-6 Incident Photo. The Judge asks you where the photo shows proof. You'll Examine the photo. See the broken glass on the elevator? Present it to the court. Someone other than Edgeworth might not have shot through the window, because he was unconscious at the time. Karma objects, reminding Phoenix that the Case File says there was not a single clue in the elevator. Only one bullet was found.
Phoenix then runs out of ideas again, and Edgeworth finally confesses. The Judge would say the verdict now. You have a choice to object this or not, choose I have an objection. You still have no idea, though.
Suddenly, you hear a voice, telling you the second bullet does exist, and that it was stolen. Phoenix tells about the stolen bullet. The Judge asks why would the murderer take the bullet. Say, The murderer didn't need it. Phoenix hears the voice again, telling him to think crazy. Phoenix then tells the court the murderer ran with it, because the bullet was stuck inside him, saying that when Edgeworth threw the pistol, the pistol discharges, sending the bullet through the elevator and sticking the murderer, who opens the elevator doors and fires the bullet to Gregory. Karma objects, saying no one else was injured in the incident. Maya then remembers something, Grossberg told you von Karma took a vacation due to shock of the blow Gregory causes in his winning streak. Maya wonders if Karma took the vacation not due to shock, but to injury, if so, then could he be the murder that had been shot?
The Judge then asks you to name the possible murderer. Is it a good time to tell it now? You are given' a choice. Choose, Say it now. Karma wants evidence that he took a vacation to heal his wound. Show evidence. Present the Medal Detector. It is possible that the bullet may be still inside him. You try asking him to test the medal detector on Karma, who refuses. The Judge precedes the test. You find something on his right shoulder. It must be the bullet. Karma then states that the bullet was in there long before the incident, and wants proof that he is wrong. Present the DL-6 Bullet, and everything will fall part on Karma.
Miles Edgeworth is once again found Not Guilty.
Gregory Edgeworth was defending a suspect of a murderer. The prosecutor was Manfred von Karma, who won the case. Gregory then spots a flaw to Karma's testimony, which made a blow to von Karma's winning streak. Gregory then goes into an elevator, with his son, a young Miles Edgeworth, with then bailiff Yanni Yogi.
Suddenly, a huge earthquake struck the court, blowing power, and trapping Yogi, Gregory, and Miles in the elevator. The air slowly thins in there, which eventually got Yogi to a panic. Yogi then started fighting Gregory. The struggle causes Yogi's gun to fall on Miles' feet. Miles picks up the gun, and throws it at the fighting men. The gun then discharges and everyone passes out. Miles hears a terrible scream before losing consciousness.
The one who screamed was Manfred von Karma, who was just passing by when he feels terrible pain on his right shoulder. Apparently, he was shot by the gun Miles' threw. The courthouse then regains electricity. The elevator door opens in front of the injured Karma, who sees two men and a child lying on the floor, not moving. Suspecting it was Gregory who shot him, Karma picks up the gun shoots Gregory's chest with it, sealing his fate. Karma then leaves with the bullet still in his right shoulder.
Police are baffled, so they used a spirit medium, Misty Fey, to channel Gregory to identify the murderer. Unfortunately, Gregory doesn't know, he suspects Yogi did it. Even if he did suspect Miles, he doesn't want his own son to be called a murderer, especially since he was still a child at the time, so he lies to the police saying it was Yanni Yogi, who was eventually found innocent.
Seeing no one else in the elevator, Miles thought the one who screamed was his father, so he thought the gun he threw shot his father dead. He had nightmares replicating the event since.
Manfred von Karma, meanwhile had to take a seven month long break to recover the bullet wound naturally. He didn't want the doctors to remove it, because he might get caught. And so the bullet remains.
Though Yogi won, his fake mental state he presented in court destroyed his life. He lost everything: his job, his money, even his fiancee committed suicide. With nowhere to go, he hides in a boat shop, where he would live on to be a confused and forgotten old man for ears to come.
Meanwhile, Misty's involvement of the investigation was somehow leaked in the papers. Hearing her falsely accusing an innocent man for murder, She was considered a fraud from the country, and was ridiculed by the nation. Unable to contain the suffering, Misty decides to run away, leaving her village and family behind, she eventually dissappeared, missing even to this very day.
Without any more suspects, and with the sudden disappearance of Yanni Yogi and Misty Fey, the case was dismissed and was since known as the infamous DL-6 Incident.
Now sit back and relex and enjoy the ending. At some point, you may want to Present the DL-6 Bullet. You'll see why.
