Drivel specifics: first section with advice could use re-writing

Once you begin this section of the story there will be no returning to Pokémon square until you have finished here.

There are 10 floors to this dungeon, then the last 4 floors will lead you to the Pokémon itself. If your team is weak enough the introductory dungeon, Snow Path, will also be available before Frosty Forest.

If you became Treecko, the best moves to keep yourself alive are Mega Drain and Brick Break. BE WARNED, your energy goes quickly so the item recommendations are:

  • 3x Max Elixir
  • 2x Oran Berries
  • 4x Reviver Seed
  • 2x Heal Seed

[edit] The Dungeon

[edit] Snow Path

Snow Path will be available depending upon the strength of your rescue team. Once you reach the peak of Mt. Freeze this dungeon will no longer be available. The purpose of Snow Path is to give an unprepared team the proper opportunity to level in preparation for scaling the mountain.

There is no chance of finding a Monster House, a shop, or a buried item in this dungeon.

[edit] Frosty Forest

There is no chance of finding a Monster House or buried items in this dungeon. However there is a chance of finding a shop on floors 4-9.

[edit] Frosty Grotto

It is always snowing as the default weather within Frosty Grotto.

There is no chance of finding a Monster House in this dungeon. There is a chance of finding buried items and a shop.

[edit] Items

In frosty grotto, you can find bananas in the walls. Sell them for 5,000Pokebuck.png.

[edit] Boss Battle: Articuno

Articuno is an Ice/Flying type, so it is weak to Rock, Fire, and Electric; and resistant to Bug and Grass. It knows Icy Wind, which is a room-range move, so watch out if you are weak to Ice.

After defeating Articuno, Absol will arrive and prevent further fighting, after which Articuno will allow you to pass.
