After floor 10, the player is given an option to save and heal before continuing on to Mt. Thunder Peak. There is no chance of finding a Monster House, a shop, or a buried item in this dungeon.

[edit] Boss battle: Zapdos
Be prepared for a hard battle if you or your partner are water types. Bringing along an electric or ground type Pokémon is recommended if you want a team member that will have an easier time enduring Zapdos’ attacks. Even though Zapdos is an electric Pokémon don’t use ground attacks. His added flying element will nullify them.
- One good strategy against Zapdos is by catching an Elektrike and having him absorb all the attacks as a decoy as the rest of your rescue team attacks him.
