Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness/Event dungeons
Event dungeons are dungeons that are special, and can only be entered via Wonder Mail. The following Pokémon are Pokémon you can only get through Events.

- Mew
- Treecko (if not chosen as starter or partner)
- Grovyle (if Treecko was not starter or partner)
- Sceptile (if Treecko was not starter or partner)
- Groudon
- Kyogre
- Rayquaza
- Giratina
- Heatran
Also, most of these dungeons, like Mystic Forest, have Pokémon that appear on random floors.

- Floors: 10
- Notes: Cannot recruit Gabite
- Objective: Save Shinx' sister with a Gabite's Scale.
This dungeon can be entered before going to Mystic Forest. The Pokémon are not too hard; they're about as strong as Pokémon on Mt. Spike. Just keep going until you reach Gabite.

- Average Damage: 10+
By comparison, Gabite is stronger than Drowzee, but by this time, you should be strong enough to defeat him. Just keep pounding him with good attacks, and he should go down like a lead balloon.
