There are 64 questions on the personality test, and depending on the answers you give and sex you choose, you will end up with one of 16 different starter Pokémon. By knowing which traits are associated with which answers, you can get the starter you want.

First select the Pokémon you want as your starter, then look at its main trait for either male or female. Click the link for the trait you need, and it will take you to the appropriate section below. Use the answers provided in that trait's section, and you will end up with the desired starter Pokémon.
