Some Objects to pick up[edit]
Before battling against trainers, you can go to your right while entering the Wood. There is a hidden potion in the middle of the free patch grass near the second south exit (See map). You can go back to Route 104 to pick-up the PokeBall.
It's time to meet the Bad Team[edit]
After defeating the first Trainer of the map and picking up the Paralyze Heal, you continue your road and finally cross a frightened scientist. He asks you if you've seen a Shroomish, but is quickly interupted by a bad guy : a Team Aqua/Magma member who directly attack you. No reason to be frightened, though, because he only has a Poochyena at level 9.
To thank you, the scientist gives you the Exp. Share. This item can give EXP. points to all the Pokémon of your team, and not only the one that's battling. It's far easier and sometimes even a bit too easy, so if you want a challenge, don't hesitate to turn it off in your bag.
A trainer and two objects before leaving[edit]
Having done that, you're ready to go further on your journey to the next city. But before, you still have a Trainer to defeat, nothing too tricky. At the left of this patch of grass, there is a hidden Balm Mushroom. It sometimes grows again, so you may come back from time to time to pick up a new one. This object is of no use, but you can sell it in shops for a good price: 6250. On the other side, north, you'll find an Elixir. You're now ready to leave.
