This course takes you through an abandoned power plant, where plenty of electric type Pokémon can be found.
Pokémon[edit]
Before you even enter the power plant, you will pass a Pikachu on the right. Take a picture of it and it will run away. When it stops, take another picture of it to make it run a little farther. Another picture will make it turn and run even farther, jumping on top of a rolling electrode. The Pikachu will stay on top of the rolling electrode until it hits the wall and explodes. A picture of Pikachu on the ball is worth 600 special points.
Electrode is, by far, the easiest Pokémon to get a good picture of. They rarely move and are stationed right next to the track. Professor Oak seems to like photos of them in the process of exploding more than those of an Electrode just standing still. To detonate an Electrode, hit it with Pokémon Food or a Pester Ball and watch as it turns white just before undergoing a massive explosion.
As you drive through the doorways between caverns, a Zubat flies at you when the doors open. If you are zoomed in, prepared to get a shot off, there's a good chance you'll get a decent photo.
There are several Electabuzz in this section that are easy to spot due to their bright yellow stripes. The best shots of Electabuzz can be taken by dashing forward and snapping a photo of the Electabuzz as it chases the Electrode in the beginning or near the end, by luring the two Electabuzz together with Pokémon Food.
In the first cave, whenever an Electrode explodes, Kakuna will drop from the ceiling, suspended by strings, for a short period of time. It is easy to get several Kakuna in one picture, but the best shot requires you to remember where they fall and timing an Electrode's explosion just right.
The yellow and brown egg holds none other than the legendary bird, Zapdos. When you have access to the Poké Flute and Pokémon Food, lure the Pikachu hanging around nearby close to the egg, then play the Poké Flute to get it blasting electricity. The jolt is enough to break open the egg, releasing Zapdos. The best shot of Zapdos is when it bursts out of the egg in an electric storm. When Zapdos has been released, it will fly over to the generator and restore power to the plant for the rest of the course.
Ponds of water are scattered around the tunnel, each containing Magikarp. Toss Pokémon Food into the water to coax the fish to jump out. Near the end of the second cavern, look right to see a Magikarp jump out of the pond near the door. Have your camera out looking for it, because it doesn't stay out of water long.
Near the end of the second cavern, there is a glowing purple dot flying in a circle. Though it may not look like it, this is, in fact, a Haunter flying around. There is also a Haunter in the third cavern floating around the Diglett. Although you can't see it when going through the course, when the picture develops, it will be clearly visible.
In the third cavern, Diglett will emerge from the ground to the left near the Pikachu. If you snap its photo, it will relocate until it finally pops out a Dugtrio. The best photo of Diglett are of it barely breaking the surface and when it is slightly bent, about to go back underground.
In the third cavern, take a picture of each Diglett that appears near Pikachu to make a Dugtrio stick its head out. If you keep taking pictures of the Dugtrio, two more will pop out of the ground nearby.
You can find this sign in the final section near the end of the tunnel. You will see a load of junk to the right. When the power plant is on, a silhouette of a Pinsir will appear behind the junk.
Without Pokémon Food you will not be able to get good pictures of Magnemite. When you try to get a picture, it will release an electromagnetic wave, causing the camera to blur them out. When you get Pokémon Food, toss it at them and take a picture while they are distracted.
At the very end of the course, a bunch of Magnemite are wandering around. If you toss Pokémon Food between them and they get close enough to each other, they will come together to form a Magneton. Remember to use Pokémon Food to keep them distracted or they will blur out your photos with electromagnetic waves.

Pokémon Food (Apples) - At 24,000 points in your Pokémon Report you'll unlock Pokémon Food which can be used to lure Pokémon around, or to get their attention by hitting them. You'll need these to progress to the next course.
