Z-Moves are a new mechanic, consisting of a move which is very powerful and can only be used once per battle.

Typed Z-Moves[edit]

There is a Z-Move for every type. A Pokemon must know a move of that type to learn the Z-Move: for instance, Pikachu must know Grass Knot in order to use Bloom Doom.

  • Normal - Breakneck Blitz
  • Fire - Inferno Overdrive
  • Grass - Bloom Doom
  • Water - Hydro Vortex
  • Electric - Gigavolt Havoc
  • Fighting - All-Out Pummeling
  • Ghost - Never-Ending Nightmare
  • Flying - Supersonic Skystrike
  • Poison - Acid Downpour
  • Ground - Tectonic Rage
  • Rock - Continental Crush
  • Bug - Savage Spin-Out
  • Psychic - Shattered Psyche
  • Ice - Subzero Slammer
  • Dragon - Devastating Drake
  • Steel - Corkscrew Crash
  • Dark - Black Hole Eclipse
  • Fairy - Twinkle Tackle

Signature Z-Moves[edit]

Some Pokemon (or groups of Pokemon) have their own signature Z-Moves.

  • Decidueye - Sinister Arrow Raid
  • Incineroar - Malicious Moonsault
  • Primarina - Oceanic Operetta
  • Pikachu - Catastropika. If the right crystal is used, it can also learn 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt.
  • Eevee - Extreme Evoboost
  • Alolan Raichu - Stoked SparkSurfer
  • Tapu Bulu, Tapu Lele, Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini - Guardian of Alola
  • Mew - Genesis Supernova
  • Marshadow - Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike
