Boss[edit]

Basil and Chervil[edit]

Basil crawls along the surface and stops occasionally to release some skulls, which will come after the Prinny. Chervil will burrow into the ground and either surface to spit a fireball across the screen or just jump up and then back into the ground. Behavior alone makes Basil the prime target.

Basil will be stunned with three Hip-Bumps, and his skulls can be taken out with Hip-Bumps as well. The skulls are released from his back upwards, so they're often released in between the attacking Prinny and Basil himself. Generally Basil moves along at a pretty slow speed, and it's possible to get two skulls and three bumps on him in one shot without much trouble. Jump back from the last Hip-Bump and throw some air-slashes his way. When the stars start counting off, it's time to prepare the next round of Hip-Bumps. Three rounds of this abuse puts Basil into critical health, and he starts to speed things up a bit, but otherwise doesn't change his pattern much. If Chervil doesn't disturb the Prinny much while dispatching Basil, things should go nicely.

Once Basil has been taken care of, his skull will remain on the ground and dispatch a homing skull every so often. They can be easily taken care of, but they also get in the way when they can be least convenient.

Chervil leaves ripples at the surface where she is about to breach. Watch the timing and hit her with a Hip-Bump the second she surfaces. She only takes two Hip-Bumps to stun, but getting that first stun can take a while. Once she's stunned, hit her with the air-slashes, and be ready to Hip-Bump her again when she comes out of it. With good timing and a little luck, the Prinny can keep her stunned until she gives up.

Skull Call - will call 2 homing skulls

Chervil:

Dive 'n Surface - will come out from the ground and attack you

Fireball - will surface and shoot a fireball at you
